I really hope we can get a Rogue One Commentary in the future, make that happen guys.

Rebel Force Radio

It will happen...Plus, we have a few others that we've been meaning to do. Lumpy and Itchy are celebrating a big anniversary this year. :)

Remind me again the point of paying for “exclusive” content that is available to everyone for free the next day? And those of us waiting for the Blu-ray still can’t listen to this show and watch the movie for another week. How about more Rush Hour? Swank has to drive home several days each week. Roll on that. And yes please do a commentary for Rogue One asap. Still love the show and you boys but hate paying for stuff everyone else gets free.

Excellent, an excuse to watch Solo for the 4th time since we got it on digital. The more I watch this film the more I LOVE IT. As of right now it's def my favorite of the Disney era. The story, the acting, the action, easter eggs, everything...all anchored by Alden's performance as Han. It's exactly what I didn't know I needed after TLJ.

Mark Meyers

I’ve loved all the commentaries! Did you ever do ones for the OT?

Scott Armstrong

My take on Val is she knows Beckett will be killed by Dryden if the mission fails. The very first scene with Dryden shows him killing someone. She obviously doesn't know the mission is doomed anyway.

Scott Armstrong

I hope I'm remembering correctly, but I do remember listening to commentaries for episodes 1 -6. I would check out the RFR site or just do a search for them.

Kevin

I think there was no way out for Val. She couldn't escape. Only thing she could do was blow the bridge and with it the Viper droids. They seemed pretty scared of those Vipers so I'm assuming they would have taken everyone out when the train arrived

Jared Cantor

No regular show this week? I'm also hankering for some rush hour episodes!

Mark Meyers

I found the commentaries with Sam for Ep. I-VI back in 2013-2014 on the feed.

Hopefully getting my Blu Ray sometime this week.

Just got to the bit where Jason and Jimmy were talking about Anthony Daniels being a Wookiee. I was fortunate to be able to ask him about this very topic face to face in London at the end of May. * I understand you were a Wookiee in the new film? * Thats just the internet. No I was a character not in a suit with Chewbacca. I said some lines just before they escaped from Kessel, like “this way!”

Mike, for me the exclusive content is just a bonus. Supporting RFR on Patreon is a decision to step up and support the core content that we all enjoy each week, even if it is free to the general audience. Jimmy and Jason give so much for the podcast, it's the least we can do to chip in to help with some overhead costs.

Mike Downs

I know all that. That is why I am and will continue to be a patron member. However, it is not exclusive if everyone gets it.

I remember the fuss about Maul lighting his saber because it seemed weird and unnecessary. I'd like to posit that it was very intentional on Maul's part. As you guys said during the commentary, Keira didn't really know anything about Maul so he needed a way to show her what she was dealing with. Also, I think she didn't leave with Han because she was too well known in the Crimson Dawn. They would have been back on the run immediately. Instead, Han got true freedom.
