Lucasfilm. If you're reading, Man, are you missing out. The open channel between you all and RFR as heard in the clip above was a god send for SW peps. Smart fans--not on the company payroll--asking creators questions that we all would want to ask ourselves. I've said it before, pick up the phone LFL and call these guys back. Nobody does it better. Mend those fences. Peace!

Lucasfilm cut off our access to him without any explanation as to why. As far as we know, Dave has no hang ups with us personally. So, if you'd like to hear him on RFR again, I can only suggest writing Publicity@Lucasfilm.com and tell them to you would like to have him return to our show.

Peter is so right! I'm sure he would probably love to chat with you guys again. It's def a combination of the lame politics of this day and age and him being a busy guy, taking on a more expanded role at Lucasfilm. I feel like he hasn't done much press lately at all...and when he does I'm sure it'll be some in-house thing like the Star Wars Show...unfortunately, because I'm certain the conversation won't be as deep. Man, it could build some serious good will to have him chat with you guys again. With the return of the Clone Wars, his work on the Mandolorian etc,..this is the perfect time. They need to put the pettiness aside. I'll def write to them. It can't hurt! The more people we have write them the better. I suggest we all write sincere respectful emails to them. Jimmy maybe you should make a new post about it so others can see it...this convo is starting to get a little buried down here. I don't know how many people will scroll this far down.

Did this cutting off of contact with Dave happen with Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm, or did this happen more in the middle of their run of Lucasfilm?

Also, does this cutting off pertain also to other Lucasfilm greats previously on the show on a regular basis, like F.J. Desanto? I've been wondering for a long time when we'll get his charming insight back! For that matter, what will it be like when the Clone Wars series starts up again and there are roundtables back? And the Mandalorian, too! Will the greats come out of the woodwork again to rejoin you guys? I so very much miss Kyle Newman's thoughts, Paul Bateman's repartee, and so forth to add to RFR's class. When will we see them again? (Is that even possible anymore?) The interviews you had with Sam Witwer in some of those roundtables with the gang were some of the best I've heard in regards to intelligent discourse on Star Wars.
