From THE FILONI FILES: Chancellor Palpatine always seemed several steps ahead of everyone else. Dave Filoni gave us his take on how the character manipulates, deceives, plots and influences events around him during The Clone Wars and beyond. How much did he know and how did it affect others, like Anakin Skywalker? Dave Filoni offers us his exclusive analysis.

From a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…(May 2012)

Boy, he makes a good point about how the public would have perceived the Jedi.... It just reinforces what I've always wondered about for the time after ROTJ: Can the Jedi ever really come back like they were given the incredible distrust? It would take forever to gain that trust back, even if it was proved the Jedi were good. It's a story I've been dying to see forever. The old EU does deal with it a bit, but not quite the way I've wanted to see. Good interview, as always!

Its so nice to hear Dave say exactly how i’ve always felt about Palpatine not protecting Anakin at all!
