I'm still kind of kicking myself. I knew that David Eckstein was a pro MLB player, but the 2nd time I met Ashley was at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim. I was outside the LEGO booth waiting in line and Ashley and David were hanging out by the big screen waiting for the TFA trailer to play. I asked her for a picture and she was gracious as always. I even think David took the picture. I didn't want to bother them any longer, or ask Ashley to take my picture with David, lol. A little bit later was a great memory watching the TFA trailer with Ashley and David and seeing Ashley wipe tears from her eyes after Han says, "Chewie, we're home!"

I didn't get into the clone wars until after watching Rebels. It was great to hear the perspective of what things were like around that 1st season.

Great conversation, I remember watching the series in the beginning and listening to you guys after, so many great memories!

So glad I went through the whole series last year. The biggest gap in my fandom was that series. Def had some ups and downs but overall it provided the greatest expanse of the mythos of any Star Wars media ever put out.

Clone Wars was coming out during my "down time" as a fan. I went through it last year for the first time and was blown away by the incredible lore. It really fleshed out the universe and helped me to embrace Star Wars in full force again. Great Q&A, looking forward to more of the conversation in a later show hopefully!!

Great job JMac and Nate! The Clone Wars were how my boys got into Star Wars.

I'm coming to this soooo late.... I liked you bringing up how the Clone Wars series is really about Ahsoka's growth. I'd wondered for a long time what the story of the series really was at its core; and Kyle Newman brought this up on the show quite a number of times. By the time we get to the last season, especially, it's readily apparent whose story it is. I think the confusion happens in large part because of how many detours the show takes into other characters' stories, which offer some of the very best episodes of all time. Regardless, that it shows the story from Ahsoka's perspective more often than not, and begins and ends with her, nails it down. And she probably goes through the most meaningful changes, and impactful.
