I'd like to put together a "Best Of Patreon" show for the next time we take the week off and I need your help. I will need a variety of bits from our Q&A, Babu Freaks and Comlink shows for the compilation and I would love some suggestions. What were your favorite moments? Please list them below with the show title and time stamp (if possible). Let me know your favorites!

Kirk Leppert

I liked it went you went through your concerts tickets on RFR Q&A #24 😜

Trevor Hallam

Oh man that time from the June 17th show (Kenobi Wardrobe etc) where you guys did the “radio interview.” Jason does the radio guy voice and JMac does our good pal Liam. So flipping funny.

Trevor Hallam

Also, the argument between Jimmy and Billy about whether or not the Jedi going to confront Palps was treason or not. Shows that RFR welcomes differing opinions and doesn’t squash them. Plus that’s just such an interesting debate because you can see both sides.

Shim Skywalker

Rise of skywalker immediately after you guys seeing it. Billy Mac was there and the guy walked up to you guys and said his favorite character was yoda. You guys were in so funny that night

David Glading

For me one of the funniest things is when Jason found out somebody sent Jimmy the Jabba play set and lost it! I think that was on a rush hour episode, but don’t have the number or time stamp

Jordan Hanson

Q&A 63 with Eric from Phoenix was a fav of mine. Love to hear Jimmy Mac’s stories from the OT days and all the toy talk. RFR has turned me into a Star Wars toy collector and only my wallet regrets it.

John Zancanaro

Rush Hour #29 around 45:10 Jimmy and Billy are driving back from Solo in Ohio, and in mid conversation suddenly we hear the drama of the iPass not working. Not the craziest moment, but I just love the idea of those two driving down the road with microphones in their hands and then someone seeing them try to figure this all out.

Eric from Phoenix

JMac and I actually talked about that on Q and A this week. I thought Jimmy was going to put BMac in a headlock :)

Wayne Dahl

My fav moment, was when Jimmy told Jason that he got the Jabba palace set, and then the $%^#*( that came out of Jason was awesome....to hear how jealous he was, and how Jimmy just kept pushing Jason's buttons was awesome......also any time Puppet Lando came on, and Jason would just lose it laughing, those were great!!!

Blake Weaver

This one is for my boy Sean Wanty who always impresses me on his RFR appearances on here. But the episode a few months ago where he was reasoning how Rey could have become a Skywalker simply through the life of Kylo flowing into her to save her at the end of TROS. While I’ll never love the sequels that one episode with Sean gave me a unbelievable amount of respect for how we could still have mind blowing convos about things even if we don’t like them. I’m sorry I don’t remember the episode title or time stamp but I’ll throw that out there.

Miles Jagger

So many to choose! The stuff with Mike Rashid is alway good but can’t forget Eric from Phoenix and also ANYTHING with puppet Lando . Gentlemen, please keep up the amazing work

Miles Jagger

Oh ! I forgot the stuff with Lucas saying “I’m rich! I’m retired!

Wayne Dahl

How about the story, when you guys went to the premier of Rouge One and Jason fell asleep at the after party.....WHO DOES THAT??????

Wayne Dahl

Also any of the parts from the Celebration in Orlando, when you guys were in your room after a long day of convention....and didn't the fire alarm go off?

Daniel Hunt

Babu Freaks episode# 9. With Cris Macht

Patrick Palen

A really touching moment was when Jimmy Mac read a Thank-You email letter from an RFR listener. The RFR fan wrote to Jimmy Mac saying that he grew up a Star Wars fan alongside a brother who passed away before adulthood. Jimmy Mac started to tear up as he continued reading the email which thanked RFR for providing a way for this fan to fill an empty part of his heart. Thanks to RFR, he wrote, he is able to still imagine what it would've been like to have more years with his brother to experience SW with. That story and Jimmy Mac's response moved me so deeply and made me tear up. I think this was an episode from Fall 2020, but Jimmy Mac, I know you would be able to remember. :) PS: Just realized this was a regular episode and not a Patreon exclusive (if I remember right.) But shout-out to RFR either way for brightening the lives of so many.

Brian Robinson

Well, regular episode, but Jimmy's Mom reviewing "The Force Awakens"

Lisa Dullard

I’m still too new to Patreon, so I have a lot of catching up to do before I have any favorites. (I’m working my way through the Rush Hour shows now.) But I look forward to hearing what others choose so I know what I have to look forward to!

Jeff Holland

That’s one of my all time favorite moments on the show too! I teared up too.

Eric from Phoenix

Wow, thanks for the very kind comment! Glad you enjoyed it. Because of Jimmy and the Freaks I have actually bought a few items recently and had a ton of fun doing it.

Eric from Phoenix

I'll try to help here but my problem is that all of the content mixes together for me and I don't remember what show I'm thinking about. 1) Q & A #75 -> Shevonious Palpatine discussion. 2) Freaks #13 -> Galloping Ghost discussion, JMac ranting about Hasbro, Fury discussion. 3) Q & A - Sean's, pick any of his deep discussions. 4) Q & A #72 - I think you do a JJ impression of his commentaries. 5) Freaks #12 - Big wheels discussion. That's as far back as I can go tonight and I know I didn't find the timestamps but hopefully this helps some. Wish there was a way to filter to specific shows.

John Riley

Jimmy doing “Drunk Kitster” from Q&A #75. Or any imitation of Liam Neeson.

Jonathan Rafferty

The one show where Jason would talk on his drive home from work, there was an episode where Jason absolutely loses his mind over Jimmy getting sent multiple copies of some Black Series figures Jason was after.

Jeff Holland

Comlink #3 - call from Morgan re Dave Filoni dropping some knowledge to other Mando directors in the Disney Gallery series for Season 1 of Mando (starts at 14:07) Comlink #3 - call from Trevor re first time we see Force Healing is Ben healing Luke in ANH (starts at 44:20)

Jeff Holland

(I'm a little biased with this one, but...) Q&A #75 - JMac REALLY hates the name "Sheev" (starts at 7:26) Comlink #4 - Swank and JMac doing Nien Nunb impersonation (8:00-8.39)

Jeff Holland

Comlink #4 - JMac doing his Kylo Ren impersonation (15:16-16:46)

Sean W. from Warsaw

Well, the most obvious one for the Rush Hour segment is when Swank lost his crap over the Jabba Sail Barge play set someone sent to Mac but not to him. He was f-bombing left and right this poor RFR fan. Lol

Sean W. from Warsaw

"No per diam, no Liam" NEEDS to be in the top, man! They need to make shirts or something, while they're at it. Lol

Sean W. from Warsaw

That reminds me of a hilarious episode of Oxygen where Collins and Jimmy were doing Ackbar impersonations! I remember this so well because it was back a few years ago when I first started listening to RFR. A friend recommended Oxygen because of how much we both love John Williams' music. It's been so long since I've heard them, though, I'd have to look up which episode. But it drew me in to RFR ever since!

Jeff Holland

Comlink #4 - Claud, Clive and F-bombs (30:57-32:44)

Sean W. from Warsaw

I'm gonna take from one of our own Q&A's, Jimmy, "What Does It Mean to Be a Skywalker?" I'll check the exact time when I can, but I believe it's in the last 20 minutes of the episode where you say you had your mind blown by the Ben Solo essence transfer theory I proposed. I felt like that was a tense episode, in some ways, because of how challenging the subject was to the way we look at SW, and I remember feeling really relieved we reached a great turning point--all on the fly, no less! Something that seemed to help Jimmy with TROS as much as myself, and something that's since been brought up a few times in other episodes. Plus, I just felt really proud I blew Jimmy's mind! Lol

Antonio from NJ

oh man I love this...saving my spot to place my favorite moments here. Babu Freaks moments: Episode 13: Barry explaining the origin of Furries episode 10: Caravan of Freaks - the early on exchange that results in the following quotes: "Tyler's dumping dead bodies in an alley, Barry's a cuck" "Urethra Franklin" "my junk floating" Babu Freaks #5: Freaks in the Flesh - starting at 58:19 Barry starts showing off the magazine's squeak haha had me dying :D Episode #2 - Billy Mac telling the JMac Batman story When it comes to Q&As its hard to call out moments because the whole show is amazing, some of my favorite episodes are: In the Latest Q&A with EF Phoenix - Jimmy telling the Christmas story (I just imagine Ralphie cursing in front of his dad in A Christmas Story) and you guys talking about why the rocket-firing Fett was changed. Any of the Q&A's about the radio dramas! RFR Q&A #40: Tales of The Jedi RFR Q&A #68: I Am Your Father RFR Q&A #60: The Netherworld of The Force RFR Q&A #57: What Does It Mean To Be A Skywalker? RFR Q&A #53: OT Gen Meets PT Gen RFR Q&A #49: Force Wielding Clones RFR Q&A #48: Return To Rebels RFR Q&A #46: Shadows of the Empire RFR Q&A #45: Dark Forces RFR Q&A #33: Lando at General Hospital RFR Q&A #28: Sweet Baby Yoda RFR Q&A #24: Old Concert Tickets & Special Edition Memories RFR Q&A #19: Coup d'etat, Continued...with Matthew Rooney RFR Q&A #13: Matt Rashid RFR Q&A #12: Matthew Rooney so yeah basically every Q&A...

Jeff Holland

Comlink #4 - call from Alex (aka Empty Seat at the Cleveland shows) who needed relationship advice on a new GF (starts at 32:47). Loved hearing how JMac and Swank introduced their future wives to Star Wars.

Sean W. from Warsaw

Also, from I think Q&A episode #67 "The Dark Side, the Dyad, and the Balance of the Force," in the comments section Jimmy expressed how it was from that conversation that he finally dipped back into TROS. (This may have been around the time when he was hesitant to. I can't clearly remember.) Again, something I felt really proud about. :)

Sean W. from Warsaw

I also really liked the last Matt Rashid episode where he changes Jimmy's mind about tabletop rpg's, and Jimmy agrees to finally give it a try! I know a ton of people are excited to see this happen, still. Not sure which time stamp would be the best, as it's kind of the whole episode where Jimmy seems to be coming around on the matter.

Sean W. from Warsaw

Oh! There was a hilarious Star Wars Commentary episode with Sam Witwer and Dave Collins, I believe, where Collins was doing a Lucas voice and Witwer his classic Arnold. In it, Lucas was coaching Arnold on how to act with a baby or something. Lol I'll try to find the episode and time when I have a second.

Antonio from NJ

oh shoot i forgot to add your recent Q&A! I really enjoyed the Jimmy Mac deepdive into christmas and you guys talking about the non firing fett!

Antonio from NJ

There is also one (and it might eb the same episode) where jason drops his lit cigar in the car haha amazing

Antonio from NJ

Yeah I love when they talk about D&D... was there another Q&A episode wher they talked about D&D?

Matt Rashid

This thread, alone, has been a sweet walk down memory lane. Great bunch of people here.

Peter Beisser

Ditto. Love reading these. My memory is like Swiss cheese now. I totally blame the internet.

Antonio from NJ

Also I know its not Patreon-specific audio but it is about patreon...You guys once featured a voicemail of me and my daughter Rosie talking about Jason's love for Chut chut on comlink and reenforcing what you guys said...this needs to be thing. And then @jmac you talked about how it comes from patreon's Comlink and that the patreons were getting into it. Think its a great example of how being a patreon is not just money = content. Its also about joining a community of fellow ...freaks? The Comlink episode is RFR Comlink #5: Merits of ATTACK OF THE CLONES...the chut chut convo starts at 26 mins in. and our voicemail is featured in Padme Help Me! (nov 5 2020) @ 1:19:00

Brian Klein

I'm reading some of the comments going "Oh yeah, that was on Babu Freaks!" You;re right, some of the moments blend together....

Todd “Suds” Sedlacek

My personal favorite is from the most recent Babu Freaks - Bobblehead Freaks when the guys talked about meeting me and called me a great guy…yeah, I’m Sith and I only care about myself. 😉. Seriously, it’s hard for me to choose there’s so much good stuff on the Patreon list. Scrolling through what everyone else has posted is great.

Matt Rashid

My kids would be thrilled if the segment where they crashed our Q&A was featured. It was #56 with the Return of the Jedi Radio coverage

Joe Dallas

There is great stuff in everyone’s shows! That’s why I never miss one. But I think any of Jimmy Mac’s impressions and or bits in a montage would allow me to never stop laughing…. I think there is a Jimmy Mac character or bit in EVERY show.

Antonio from NJ

JOE F*ING DALLAS.... I cant tell you how badly I want to walk into a bar and call that out to you. best name in our community.

Jeff Holland

Comlink #5 - Swank and JMac talk about AOTC (“I miss you…SO MUCH!”) and the origin story of when Swank and JMac started using “chut chut”. (24:35-32:00)

Jeff Holland

And if/when Joe Dallas did something bad or cool, we could say, “…that’s Dallas.” (Like how Kevin said it in that garage sale episode of The Office. 😂)

Jeff Holland

Comlink #5 - call from Brian and he let his kids (Blake and Reagan) asked questions, “if Boba Fett comes back to The Mandalorian Season 2, who would he be looking for? Gweef Carguh or someone in the underworld like Stinky the Hutt?” And “Does Baby Yoda go to pre-school?” (Starts at 40:31)

Jeff Holland

Yeah he called again in Comlink #5. 😂 his GF recorded him talking SW in his sleep. That HAS to be on the best of the best show (starts at 22:00)

Brian Robinson

Well, regular episode, but Jimmy's Mom reviewing "The Force Awakens"

Eric from Phoenix

Jeff Holland and AM get the gold star award. Crazy recall and/or great research. Great job guys!

Sean W. from Warsaw

JOE DALLAS! You sir are the man! I think the most memorable one was when you did the joke about Rian Johnson's pencil. BURN!

Sean W. from Warsaw

It could be interesting to play something from the very first Q&A, to take it to the beginning, so long ago. I don't think I've ever listened to the first episodes yet, so I'd be genuinely interested, myself.

theVillaCachers

Jason and Jimmy getting inducted into the Wolf Pack (Filoni's annual fan award) by none other than Dave Filoni!

Joe Dallas

Hey Sean! Yeah- that was from my #64 Mos Eisley Cantina Jazz Letterman style “Things Kylo Ren Should Have Frozen But Didn’t” top ten list hahahaha! Your episodes always make me think about things I may not have considered. Thank you!

Sean W. from Warsaw

Another good one was one of the Bad Batch After Shows where Steven Stanton crashed the discussion! Beautiful.

Olivia Goodrich

I don't remember if this was from Patreon but it was pretty funny after you guys saw solo and that drunk dude told you his favorite character was dark Vader

Nick Whenham

Billy Mac explaining why he dislikes Ezra from Rebels on the Babu Freaks. 'Why, why...'. Lol

Steve Gilmore

The meltdown towards the end of the show where Puppet Lando was reviewing his album.

Federico

I've tried to found it, but I believe is in the first part of 2020 when Jimmy reads a letter from a listener, a very emotional one that I can relate. It shows the power of words and what RFR means to many of us, also shows the real power of Star Wars and how it connects to its fans. Jim chocked reading it, so did I hearing it, and then he makes a comment on his wife saying something in the likes of "you guys have the best audience". Sadly I was not able found it still (crazy week at work and family events). PS: Sorry for my english, not a native.

Antonio from NJ

I know this is like a month later but was just re-listening to Babu Freaks #3: Star Wars & Freaks at The Drive-In and am dying over Barry The Rail Head. I've yet to see the video but man such a funny conversation and one that gets referenced from time to time. I love it
