Disney has revealed details and pricing for it's upcoming STAR WARS hotel in Florida, The Galactic Starcruiser. RFR VIP Dustin Bagley joins Jimmy Mac to review the high price tag and the itinerary for a two-night stay. We look at the schedule for guests and consider all the pros and cons. Is it something we might actually drop big money on? Listen to find out!

Me neither. Have a trip to Disney Land in December. Hoping to see it but am bummed knowing it won't have the Star Wars I grew up with in the park.

They really blew it by not making Star Wars land with multiple locations in the “land”. Could have easily done a Tatoine, Endor, Naboo, Cloud City, Geonosis blend.

I wasnt the biggest fan of Jason saying maybe this isn't for you if it is too pricey. Like jmac said it's not about cost...it's about value. Yeah I could afford this (we are a family of 4), but why? Why wouldn't we just plan an actual week-2 week family vacation? I just can't wrap my mind around how this is worth the money.

Disney didn't spend $4 billion for Lucasfilm for nothing. They will strategically figure out a way to milk every dollar out of the property that they can. Reality. Either this two-day "adventure" appeals to you, or you can move onward and come to Japan with me and my wife.

I’m as hardcore a Disney parks fan as I am a Star Wars fan and I have no interest in that hotel. When I go to Disney I need to chill in the morning by the pool and do my own thing in a park in the afternoon. Unless I get in on this 60 man RFR visit. I only live a hour from Disney world they won’t have to sponsor my airfare.

We were supposed to go to Disneyland last March (2020) but Covid cancelled that trip. Have trip planned over fall break to Disneyworld. Hopefully this one happens.

Glad you talked about the hotel and itinerary in more depth. It’s one of those things where it’s really hard to justify the value, but I still want to do it at some point. The expense to come from Australia is absurd though. And won’t be anytime soon given COVID.

Was actually at Disney in Galaxy’s Edge when this came out. Glad you guys talked about it because Disney is clearly capitalizing on the franchise in the parks as well but would love to see a divergence from only doing Sequel Era film attractions in the parks.

Great show, guys! Very informative. Sadly, I‘ll never be able to afford a stay on board the Halcyon. I’m a bit like Dustin, though. If you’re expected to participate in all the immersive elements, and can’t just do your own thing, my interest drops considerably. I’m too much of an introvert. So, it’s just as well I’m poor. 😝 I do love Galaxy’s Edge, though, so I’d go back there in a heartbeat.

Great job Dustin and JMac! I really want to go to the hotel but just can’t justify the cost at this time. It will be interesting to see what the initial reviews say about the experience. The behind the magic CD was awesome and I was so excited to watch the deleted Star Wars scenes. Only issue I had was the video was always choppy (probably my computer). JMac talked about swimming with the Twi’leks in the Mon Cal pools. I think a pond would be better for Jimmy :)

Great show. This definitely does not sound like something I would want to do especially if I was footing the bill. We go on vacation once in a blue moon and while I don't mind a bit of adventure on vacation, to me a vacation is about pure relaxation and this sounds way too intense.
