Damn...Jason Swank was spot on when he recently joked about how we should always assume that at least SOME of Kathleen Kennedy's announced projects will get axed. I still laugh about the "untitled trilogy" LucasFilm announced years back with Rian Johnson and the GoT directors.

We may have dodged a bullet here losing Patty and "Rogue Squadron." Anyone make it through "Wonder Woman: 1984?" 'Nuff said. See ya Saturday!

I know the Old Republic film rumors have been around for years but there is a nice tie in to the Mando-verse that they could use to create some synergy between the different content. The Mandalorian-Jedi wars are a huge part of the backdrop of that universe, that’s what I think of every time that’s brought up in Mando.

I loved her first WW movie. That second follow-up though definately was a stinker

Typical Disney chasing the latest “hot name”. Haven’t listened to the episode yet, but I heard the director of Eternals is doing the Feige Star Wars film. Eternals is getting rated as the worst marvel movie.

I'm not sure I can pin it all on Patty. You have watched the quality of the rest of the DC movies, correct? Warner Bros needs to slow down and tell a story in full. Make longer movies or split them up.

Superman is my most favorite superhero, so naturally, I was drawn to DC. It hurts to see the MCU quality so much better than the DCU.

Really interesting what’s going on. It’s a shame Lucasfilm has become this kind of circus. Honestly though after learning Rogue Squadron wasn’t going to be based on old characters I really wasn’t that excited honestly. Who woulda thought one day we’d be bowing to Star Wars tv shows over the films.

I recently started "Curb Your Enthusiasm" as well. I needed a "Seinfeld" fix and currently on Season 2.

I’m the only one in my family that liked WE 84. Part of this is due to the 80’s nostalgia but I also liked the theme showing that when you get everything you ever wanted it doesn’t work out well. I know I’m an outlier here.

The Yoda/Lando slot machine matchup. I respect and love your work, i believe you to be a good man, but i will loathe you forever for bringing this into my life.

Great show guys. I would love it if Lucasfilm just waited to announce anything until the script is done / approved and they have a Director. Once that is done announce casting is starting with plan to shoot on X date. That seems like common sense. I think the leadership at Lucasfilm has a huge credibility gap and I can’t believe this is a positive thing with Disney? I loved the BOOBS calculator comment. Not sure why but this topic came up with my wife, daughter and I a month or so ago. My wife and I laughed thinking back to being kids and doing this on our calculators. My daughter didn’t get it so we tried showing her on our phone calculator, however, it doesn’t work that way. Lol.

Apparently it’s being reported now that Rogue Squadron has been “delayed” due to “creative differences”. And Emperor Kennedy has been extended for 3 more years.

Warner Bros giving Disney a dose of their own medicine. Disney lured JJ from Star Trek as he was getting ready for ST3. Same with Gareth for Godzilla just when that franchise was starting, Treverrow from Jurassic World 2, Trank was a hot director at the time he was announced for Boba Fett stand-alone. Disney lured the hot directors from other studios to stall their competition and jump start their projects. Back when they initially announced all of these directors years in advance I wondered why they did that, now it makes sense looking back at the past.

Listen, no way I could make a movie on that level. Most of us couldn't. So props to everyone making stuff out there.
