Just got done with the new episode. To say this series is a slow burn would be an understatement. Looking forward to hearing what everyone else thought.

I realized today that people who don’t enjoy Star Wars are justified in their opinion. And the reason for it can be summed up in a moment from Rick McCallum when he said, “It’s so dense; every frame has so much going on.” I just think Star Wars is often overwhelming for people. Same goes for Andor: Every scene is overflowing with character nuance and subtle maneuvering. It’s the thing I love to see most in entertainment because so few writers can pull it off to this degree. Vince Gilligan is another writer who’s very consistent with a keenly observational, granular style on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Plenty other examples as well, including most of Star Wars, frankly, because it has so many moving parts. Christmas never lasts forever, but for now I’m like, put it in my veins. 💉

Okay, just got to the after show and I’m dying to know what Jason is drinking. Was is saki? It didn’t look like his normal whiskey glass.
