Let's just hope that we can see more true to tone Star Wars movies. Tired of the comic book style in the current Mando. Andor is what I think about when it comes to Star Wars. Grit and more adult driven. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the shows but time to focus the core of Star Wars.

I enjoy Mangold’s work, but if Indiana Jones flops we won’t be getting his movie. This is a total Rian Johnson situation. I suspect 2/3 of these new movies won’t be even made.

So much great news on day one of Celebration! We’ll just have to wait and see if they follow through with all of it or not. Looking forward to the discussion tonight. I watched the entire live stream this morning and it sure sounds like the final two Mando S3 episodes should be pretty awesome. I wonder if we’ll get some more Rebels crew showing up or even Thrawn to lead us into Ahsoka?

Hard to avoid the impression that they’re desperate and giving the responsibilities that were rightfully Luke’s (rebuilding the Jedi, eliminating Thrawn) to Ahsoka and Rey. Oh well, I guess I can always revisit my EU novels.

It’s wild to think that in 2008 I was excited to see animated versions of live-action Star Wars characters, and now I’m stoked to see live-action versions of the animated Star Wars characters. Star Wars has evolved so much in the last couple decades and I’m perpetually jazzed for what comes next.

I agree with you. That Indy movie supposedly has a budget of over 300 million. For it to actually make money and be considered a success it’s gonna have to make over a billion taking into account reshoots and marketing. I only see Filonis film getting made personally.

I really think LF would do well to part ways Kennedy. They need someone who is able to “read a room” better, and be able to own up to mistakes and try to do better as a leader. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of so many creatives parting ways with a production company as I have with modern LF. It is certainly a leadership issue. But, I am glad SOMEONE has an idea for a story plan (Jon and Dave). Their story has been fun so far! The finale should be very entertaining! The Ahsoka trailer has me hyped!
