While these announcements were/are cool, they're yet more announcements in a sea of announcements that have fallen off a cliff after a period of time. Patty Jenkins, Rian Johnson, Benioff & Weiss, Josh Trank (?)...et.al. I mean, at this point, I don't trust any announcement coming out of Lucasfilm until I start hearing dates for principal photography in the trades. That is not a good reflection on the company.

Once bitten, twice shy? Nothing to apologize for. Lucasfilm makes the bed and we sleep in it. I don't blame you for feeling skeptical. Personally, I'm feeling more optimistic than prior announcements/rumors. There is more behind these announcements than a wish list.

I'll grant you - the Filoni announcement has more credibility since he's already in there and fighting the good fight (???) but the Mangold announcement - meh...and the post ROS film I'll remain skeptical about - *even* though I really like Daisy Ridley and would love to see her get a treatment that is deserving of what her character should have received from the get go. Either way Jim - I'll watch with interest.

Greta breakdown guys. Not sold on all these films being made. I don’t trust Disney and I don’t trust Lucasfilm when it comes to announcements anymore. And I have to disagree heavily with FJ about teens today having nostalgia for the sequels. I get there may be some. But as someone who frequents cons and has friends with kids of all ages I’m sorry I just don’t see it. The Ahsoka stuff is a different story. That you see nostalgia for with all ages.

Guys, FJ always sounds like he’s talking thru a pillow. Can you do something to bump his levels closer to the two of you?

Loved the episode! Had to turn it off once FJ came in because my son was with me. Is there a way to put out a clean version? Might not be worth the effort

Love the coverage! My thought after listening to you all talk and the KK quote about Luke made me think. What if the writer said that because he wanted Luke to play a bigger role and KK/Disney said "No" that The didn't want Luke to return for this upcoming movie? It's all just speculation until someone spills but that's just my 2 cents.
