“Twin Suns” brings an end to the long-simmering feud between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Years in the making, STAR WARS REBELS brings us this moment and leaves us asking a bunch of questions. An episode of this magnitude demands RFR analysis with a critical eye. Joining us to discuss “Twin Suns” are author Adam Bray (“Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia”) and our pal Paul Bateman. We talk about our many likes and many dislikes from this episode, and opinions fly fast and furious. Especially when we consider the true identity of “The Chosen One”. Strap yourselves in for this one because when we start talking about Rebels, it ain’t like dusting crops, boy!

Is there an rss for the high fidelity version? I listen to so many podcasts, and depend on them just downloading automatically. So if there's not, that's fine and I'll still contribute, but if there is a secret rss then I'm happy to move to that.

I guess I'm assuming there that rsses can be password protected or something to ensure only backers can get them.

(Just listened to SWRD: Twin Suns) Let me help Jason's understanding of "The Chosen One". It's Kenobi's response to Maul, so it's his interpretation. And remember his words to Anakin/DV from Episode III: "You were the Chosen One!" Emphasize "were", and then add 17 years. Kenobi has supplanted Anakin with Luke as the Chosen One (the one who will destroy the sith and bring blah blah blah...), at least in HIS mind. We don't need to misinterpret this as a Disney ret-con.

(More thinking...) Remember the conversation on the gunship in Episode III: "A prophecy misread may have been", and Mace Windu gives Yoda the "You damn right" look in agreement. Or else later while getting blown out the window by Palpatine, I'm pretty sure Mace decided definitely that the prophecy was wrong. Then Kenobi had more time to re-evaluate it in terms of Anakin+Luke.
