In my rush to get the show posted here ASAP, I released the show with a live read for Draft Kings (worth checking out if you are an NFL fan!). Sorry about that. But the show DOES NOT contain any pre-recorded commercials like the general release does.

Wow! What an episode! I agree, this really does feel like authentic Star Wars, and a real continuation after Return of the Jedi. Also, It looks to me like Huyang is a puppet, for the most part. A vast majority of the time, it looks to be real. Now, the fight with the HK droid, and the training sequence with Sabine likely included a CGI version of him, and perhaps the eye blinking and expressions were added in post as well. But, I’m petty certain, for the most part, he’s being puppeteered

At 1:32:00 I'm right there with you Jimmy! Let's see something happen!

Man, I'm with Jimmy at 1:23:00 (not to be confused with Cameron above at 1:32:00). I really hope there isn't some multiverse stuff going on that can change the mythology at any point.... I have my own ideas about TWBW. I think Dave Filoni said it best, though, in old interview way back in Season 4 of Rebels: It's a place of wisdom. I'm personally not convinced anyone can change anything in time using that place. When Ahsoka talks with Ezra in Season 4 while they're in that place, she even tells him when he says to come with him "I can't go back." Then she hops right back where she came from. I believe she had to go right back to her duel with Vader and finish it properly in her own time she was in originally. We don't see this, of course. But if she said she "can't go back," what else would that mean...? Even moreso because we do see Ahsoka in Season 2 walking through a doorway of the Sith temple, right at the end. It seems clear Ahsoka won against Vader or escaped. I also think that TWBW, like the Jedi temple on Lothal or even the Dagobah cave, only reveals things on a personal level to test the recipient, based on his or her's deepest fears and all that.

Here's my thoughts on what Ahsoka's going through right now. I think she really did fall into the ocean and is close to death. Her spirit is in between life and death, which could be a good, alternate way to go to this place. I think this in part because of what we see of Vader in that one epic Vader comic where he basically has to separate his spirit from his body (essentially die in the flesh) to access what looks eerily like that place, albeit a hellish version (which, if true, is a good reason why I think TWBW reveals things only on a personal basis). Now, Vader had to have a wild Force machine or temple built to open a portal to it; but he apparently could only enter in via spirit. To answer Jimmy's question about if the Emperor could access it, he says he could not find a way in, and so was waiting for Ezra to enter it in order to enter in through Ezra. He used some sort of dark side magic in a cauldron or something to open up some window, but had to hold onto Ezra to physically start to go in. So it seems there are different ways to get in to it--but probably different for every person based on the will of the Force. Which seems to have a lot to do with death. So, I think Ahsoka is temporarily there to gain wisdom of some sort about her place in the Force, her own greater destiny, etc. My guess is, she'll be tested in ways similar to when she was in the temple on Lothal, but with a greater reward. It'll be a transformative test in which she becomes a more enlightened or edified person. No doubt she's been struggling with guilt about Anakin and other related things for a long time. This could be where a lot of those things come out and she deals directly with those demons.

I loved hearing the commercial as I never get to hear them on Patreon. Nice job on the design of the ad Jimmy!
