My Bond! Well, Dalton was technically but his movies just didn’t appeal to six year old me. Goldeneye will always be special to me and my first real introduction to the franchise. I loved the CD-ROM “The Ultimate Dossier”, though oddly I never got into the video game. I recall playing the Bond theme on my church piano as a kid and another kid said “Hey! It’s the Goldeneye theme!”.

“Closing time, James. Last call! “ I’ve been waiting years for this one ! Thanks guys !

Been looking forward to this one since the start of BondCast. This was my Bond movie and I played the bejesus out of the N64 game. Used to split the cable between two tvs and cover half the screen up with cardboard so my friends and I could play without seeing the others' screens.

Woohoo! We already have more Bondcast in the 1st nine days of the year than all of 2022! Love it!

I'm old, I think I saw "The Spy Who Loved Me" on TV first and then watched "Moonraker" in the theater.

He's not alone😄 I know of a few other Bond podcasts that have put out only one or no further episodes since discussing NTTD.

My wife showed me pics on Instagram of Aaron Taylor Johnson and his wife on vacation last week. And I recognized they were at the Bizot Bar at the Golden Eye resort. We had spent a lot of time there a few years back. Must have been there for a meeting. Almost certain he's the next Bond now. We'll see. Can't wait to listen to this episode.

Loved the episode guys!!! Please keep making these this year! I have so been looking forward to your Brosnan takes. I had been exposed to a number of the Bond movies with my father and grandfather, but Brosnan and the N64 game where “my James Bond” I still had not seen any of them in theaters until Die Another Day though because my mom thought it was too violent I guess. So we rented them all on VHS. The games though I spent hundreds of hours playing with friends. Then with dvd and bluray I have obsessed over them all.

Great discussion guys! This was the first James Bond movie my wife ever saw. I swear she talked to Jonathan before you recorded. When the opening sequence with the plane happened, she turned to be and said that could never work.... She's right of course. In addition, she never could see Pierce as being able to fight like he does in the movie. I couldn't believe that Jonathon said the exact same thing. lol She did really like Casino Royale and totally believed Daniel Criag in the role. When Jason was talking about all of the changes that had happened since the last James Bond movie (safe sex) it totally made me think of the old SNL skit. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xzvktk Jonathon's comment about Bond falling down the metal steps made me think about Nick Gillard. We saw his panel at Salt Lake Fan X several years ago and I asked him what was his most painful stunt. It was falling down a bunch of metal steps. Ouch!
