Marcus from TX: I am looking forward to the Rey movie in the same way that I look forward to all Star Wars movies. However… I don’t think it’s a good idea for the Director to potentially upset more than half of its audience before the film is even started. Love the show and the community. Keep up the hard work guys!

Kelsey Swanson

I like how she completely ignored the female producers and directors already involved in Star Wars. And loves to make “men uncomfortable. Not looking forward to this latest flavor of the month Kathy Kennedy project

Weren't her comments taken out of context? She was referring to comments about a particular documentary she had made at that time in 2015!

This is correct. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s comments were made 8 years ago in reference to her documentary about men abusing women in Pakistan. ALWAYS BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU READ AND BELIEVE ON THE INTERNET!!!

These comments were about SA in Pakistan and this happened 8 years ago. Be careful what you read on the internet.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I guess I wasn’t paying attention to the source material. Good reminder.

I’ve seen a lot of people hating on the title “The Mandolorian and Grogu,” but it seems like an obvious homage to the classic manga/gekiga series “”Lone Wolf and Cub” (Kozure no Okami). Intertrxtually, I would expect the film to adapt the source material in really interesting ways within the tighter scope of a film. Can’t wait!

Favreau has mentioned the work multiple times in interviews, etc., to the point where I think most fans are aware of the connection. However it hasn’t really come up in comments about the title announcement so thought I drop this in. Look forward to the show guys!
