Hey guys,

Here's House Party 0.6.1 Beta.  Most of this update deals with tweaking out 0.6.0 and fixing some bugs you guys have reported, and of course the conclusion to Rachael's first ending.  Here is the change log:

General Bug Fixes

Code optimizations

Fixed a bunch of typos in dialogue

Fixed some story continuity errors

Revamped sex system to allow for easier expansion in the future

Revamped and fine-tuned all sex code

Added Doggie Style sex

Added female masturbation

Added ability for all characters to perform sex acts

Fixed floating pillows issue

Fixed an issue where Patrick would get his wine back after you had given it to Frank or Stephanie

Made it so the kettle cannot be knocked over

Finished Rachael’s dare game

Finished Rachael Ending 1

This build allows doggie style sex with both Rachael and Katherine, and also includes a new masturbation scene, a voyeur scene, and an exhibitionism scene.

From here, I may release one or two more beta versions to clean up any immediate issues that are discovered, and then I will begin working on Rachael's split story line.

There is no player phone required for Rachael's quest. It was removed for now because it didn't have a purpose.

The mac version isn’t working. I downloaded the zip and extracted it but when i click on the .app it says: The application “HouseParty.app” can’t be opened.

i just finished one game with all 4 girls that you can do stuff with. one of them(medison) is bugged and i got a "free" bj without doing her quest. Please fix it, after completing the phone mission she will ask the player if he wants to prank her sister. When the player chooses to listen to her offer it will give him a boost in the relationship. After that simply disagree to do it and then it will pop out again which creates a loop. oh and the kettle is super bugged on windows 64 bit

I'm completly stuck. Can't get the thermos for Rachel, can't ask for Patrick to return me the favor after I gave him painkillers like I've seen on YouTube. The other 3 girls questlines are finished. What am I missing?

My mac version is unplayable. I still have black textures and the characters hair freaking out from the last build and when i run the game, it plays for maybe a minute and then freezes completely. Can anybody help?

Try doing some Frank and Katherine stuff, they also affect your options with Patrick.

Can we please just put the kettle in our inventory? I have given up on putting that kettle on the stove with the hand. It is impossible in the 64 bit windows version on my computer. It won't stay in my hand, it keeps blinking to a different location everytime I grab it. There is also very bad lag with this version. My computer isn't a powerhouse, but it handles much more graphically intense games with ease, there is something wrong with this version.

This has been hotfixed. Go out to the main menu and re-download the story.

I've had a couple people with this issue, but for the majority it is working. I'm not sure what the issue is yet, but I am looking into it.

In 0.6.0, there was a continuity bug allowing you to pick up this quest prematurely. It has been corrected, so you need to go through the chronological steps now to get it. You need to first establish with Rachael, get her to tell you about Vickie, then talk to Kat about hacking the phone, and then you are able to ask Patrick about his phone.

This is a known bug with the latest version of Unity, and I've submitted a bug report about it. I have been keeping up on patches, so hopefully the fix will be included in one in the near future. It doesn't happen on all macs, just certain hardware.

If it's failing to extract, it sounds like a bad download. I would try to re-download the game.

The large muscles on upper arms are "biceps", not "bicepts". Beyond that, I have completely perverted questions about the sex mechanics. Specifically, are you planning on implementing actual penetration (as opposed to model clipping)? What about speed controls? I know neither of those are simple, but I also know they are definitely feasible in Unity (see the recent Japanese "game" about the extremely realistic sex doll). Similar improvements to the BJ mechanics would also be welcome, though I suspect that would be even harder, given that stretching a mouth without making a horror-show face has to be more difficult. Right now, it's really just a HJ with her head obscuring any detail.

For me, the sex mechanics aren't even working. They usually end up clipping into the bed while all hands are just floating in the air. The doggy position ends up with her in the right spot but he's about 2 feet behind her mid-thrust.

I've managed to get it working on all the lowest settings. It still freezes and lags from time to time but doesn't stop working. Still have black textures though so will just have to wait for a fix in a later build. Maybe this bug has something to do with the running of the game too.

try putting everything on the lowest settings (including unticking all the boxes at the bottom of the settings menu) it at least made the game work for me

Great update! Now that doggystyle has been added, do the Katherine story all the way up to doing the deed and CROUCH before selecting F***. Select doggystyle. Enjoy the view! lol

Right now I am focused on getting the overall game mechanics and story down and the different sex options available (which is where the higher demand lies). Of course down the line I will explore more options to increase the realism of everything and look for new ways to implement things. The difference between those games and mine, is that those games omit stories and focus on just the sex mechanics, whereas this game is presenting a huge story and has sex included in it. So will the sex in this game get AS intricate as what you are describing? Maybe... in time. But will it get better? Yes, for sure.

Could you please report OS, quality and resolution settings, and steps to reproduce (if any). Please understand that "not working for me" literally gives me nothing to investigate. It's working for the majority, so it's usually under a special circumstance that it's not working, and that's what will give me the info I need to look into it.

This update, while adding some good stuff, broke some things as well. The pathing still needs work but beyond that, people walk all over the place now. Which is kind of cool because it makes it more realistic but it's annoying to deal with when looking for people that normally are in one location. Frank also should probably stop laughing at naked chicks, people should probably not respond to the same naked chick the same way every time in general. I mean if they've already been seen once the shock/surprise should be diminished so people shouldn't need to gasp everytime they see the same naked person.

Having issues picking things up, just seem to drop them immediately so cant get the kettle to the stove! Also when trying for Katherine photos i got her alone in Maddisons room and locked the door, she still put her clothes back on when someone came towards the door

So, I have a dilemma, I can't pick shit up in version 6.0(alpha) or 6.1(beta). I went back to 5.7 to see if it happens in all versions for me, but that wasn't the case as I was able to pick stuff up in 5.7. So, I just thought I would throw it out there because I know you are about to put this on Steam and GameJolt.

Ok, I did the quest to get Ashley running naked through the house in search for an unlocked toilet. The "Quest finished" text from Madison came up. Because I also needed Vickie's telephone number, I gave Ashley her dried clothes, then released the kraken... uhm, sorry.. her boobs. Got me Vickie's phone number from Madison. And as there also was the option to ask her for a blowjob reward, I did. Result was: "Too many people around" and the option to ask for a blowjob disappeared. Seems a bit bugg-ish to me?!?
