Hey guys,

Here's the 0.7.1 Alpha.  This version includes a continuation of Vickie's story as well as some more bug fixes.

CHANGES:

Updated Vickie Model

Added “Redemption” quest

Added “The Candyman Can!” quest

Updated Vickie’s Story

Updated Derek’s Story

Updated Frank’s Story

Updated Stephanie’s Story

Updated Ashley’s Story

Added Cunnilingus

Added Female Orgasm Bar

Added an option to turn on/off motion blur

Dialogues now queue so if one fires while you’re in the middle of another, you won’t miss it.

Console updates and improvements.

Fixed an issue where Katherine won’t switch out of cowgirl mode

Fixed an issue where Vickie wasn’t loading in a loaded saved game

Fixed an issue where the thermostat setting doesn’t load properly from a saved game

Fixed an issue where sometimes objects would slip out of the player’s hand when carrying

Fixed an issue with Frank beating up Patrick breaking the quest to sober him up.

question with 0.7.1 or 0.7.0 for that matter can we create our own storylines?? as with the other versions you can use unity to edit and create your own story can you still do that with this version of House Party? as unity i have wont detect it... or do i need unity 2017 now for these latest versions of house party.?? Maybe this has already been mentioned and asked but if so have not been able to find it anywhere.. sorry if is repeated.

oh really?? how?? when try it says is not a unity project? or do I need to shift or place something somewhere or am i missing something very very obvious Thank you though for replying :). I have looked at help but most help relates to 0.6.6 not to the 07.x series My unity is 5.6.3f1 or do I need to go and get Unity 2017 ?? which is the better ?

ok so can you still not use Unity 2017.1.1 ?? but continue to use 5.6.3f1 ?? that is cool.. but the custom story creator download is for 0.6.5 is the latest one... that is not for 0.7.x is it?? or have the new charactors been added too it ?? as I downloaded 0.6.5 about a month ago and it doesnt have the new charactors in it.........but maybe it has been updated...

You still cannot use Unity 2017, and the game is backwards compatible with the story creator for 0.6.5. It won't have the new characters, but you can add them manually. We don't have any official support on how to do this because we will release an updated story creator soon, but if you look at the way the other characters are set up, you may be able to work it out. Also, check out the Discord channel. There is a whole channel dedicated to story creator and a lot of people there that can help.

Hey EEK, nice work with the new Alpha, I came across two problems while testing: Kathrine was in the Garage while I took the Titty Pics. The Door was closed, but she still reacted several times as she was "seen" (no one entered) Seems the AI thinks it can see into it. And more sevearly: I had Sex with Kathy while Patrick sobbered up. This was not recognized by the Quest, When talking to him after the sex, he was marked sobber.

ok thanks so the version i already have is correct and the characters are still there just not setup so to speak :) which could be a good way to learn more is try and get em in the game myself ... otherwise will just wait until the updated story creater comes out... thank you though for all your help and assistance. :)

Sex Animations still wont work, and i cant pick up the Thermos, it never goes in my inventory and if i try to pick it up again frank beats me to a pulp. Had the same problems with the last relase as well, hoped that it would be fixed

When you say they don't work, what do you mean? We aren't able to replicate any issues with the animations. There is a lot of physics-based stuff going on however. Have you tried updating your video card drivers? I also don't seem to have an issue getting the Thermos. Are you trying to load from an older save?

It's a result of the new team, which everybody was complaining last month because it delayed the Alpha a bit to get it all in place. We're looking at a new release every week to two weeks moving forward with the new setup. :)

After doing vickies quest and all the new quest i tried getting the empty vodka bottle but the question did not pop up after inspecting it so i tried reloading an earlier save file b4 vickes quest and it still wouldn't show after inspecting and yes i had already given him the camera. Maybe a bug somewhere?

First off, thank you for giving the option to turn off "motion blur". The dialogue interruption fix is huge as well. The story updates for Ashley and Stephanie are a great addition. Not sure what the future plans are for the mechanics on cunnilingus (or any sexual interaction for that matter), but as it stands right now - it seems you need to move the cursor around to increase the female orgasm bar? - that's relatively annoying (in my opinion). Also, I'm guessing the mo-cap isn't fully integrated yet either? Anyways, you've come a long way with this in the last year since I discovered the game and I hope you keep your head up and keep chugging forward despite any criticism I or others perceive to give. I think it's just that we as passionate players are simply hoping for the best from this - which is actually a huge compliment to your success thus far.

not seeing anything on Vickie, Derek and Amy are the same as last 7.0, no quest. Katherine quest ended without continuation after the bare yourself to everyone. game play is improving, the bumper car interaction has to be worked on. (characters bumping into each other). Really should be a sex/bj option for each girl. the easiest girl at the party(Stephanie) quest ends just shy of the goal. Money shot needs improvements. should be more of a cachunka splat, not morse code dots. you've gone this far, finish it.

I figured out a glitch when you try an open a save from an older version of the game the game glitches out, and stuff happens like Frank, Catherine Brittany, and Stephanie all start walking around the house, Catherine loses her glasses Patrick Star holding his wine and Vicky Pattison is there

Thermos worked fine here after I realised I'd not completed the previous quest to gain trust. Hard to remember sometimes when you run though previous quests!

ok Vickie loaded, had to reload the game. do the Rachael quest and reverse the numbers to send to Vickie. she shows up now. That starts the redemption quest.

I was told I couldn't load saves from an older version when I tried (please don't try as the game is in develepment). I ended up with kaths glasses and phone on the floor when I loaded

having problems with saved games not loading right will go back to load a game and the saved name has changed and when i try and load it acts like i have not done anything

Didn't know you could pick it up before you give him the camera but good to know! It is a time savor if that's the case but for people like me that might not be aware of that it could pose an issue if they can't prompt frank to let them have the bottle after they've worked on other things.

You talk to Derek and there should be a dialogue mentioning her and he'll tell you the 3rd thing you need to do. I'm not going to say what it is or I'll spoil it lol

After you do those two things, talk to Derek and there should be an option to choose about the 3rd thing you need to do. Then after he mentions the thing you need to do, talk to Frank about that thing

The problem is you can't get her topless and then help get the thermos at the same time, it's either one or the other, can't even talk to steph about the 50 :/

This is what I don't get. To do the apology, you need to get the thermos and get vikkie there. That means all the alcohol goes to Frank and none goes to Steph. Therefore she doesn't go topless and I can't get the 50

I'm able to have the interaction with Stephanie to "earn" the $50, but then the actual event doesn't trigger. She just gets fully naked and continues to dance. Anyone else?

You only need to give Frank the 6 Natti Lite. The Merlot and Chardonnay can go to Stephanie. SPOILER for Natti Lite locations (if you don't know them): 1) Garage - racks opposite of door to house. 2) Front Room - by chair by front window 3) Living Room - behind right speaker 4) Master Bedroom - on shelf by bath door 5) 2nd Floor Hall Bath - behind wicker basket 6) Computer Room - left side of desk by wall

you could pick it up straight away before. now once you start the texting spoofs, you cant ask Frank after inspection of the empty bottle. I'm guessing you can still grab it early on tho. seems that one quest cancels others. you can get Katherine all the way into bed nude, but that's the end

This is what I've done so far, but now I'm stuck: 1. Got the thermos from Frank by bringing him all the Natty Lites 2. Brought the thermos to Rachael and got her number 3. Got Vickie's number by untying Ashley's top 4. Got Stephanie to go topless by giving her the Chardonnay and Merlot 5. Sobered Patrick up by giving him hot coffee, thus getting his phone 6. Gave Patrick's phone to Katherine 7. Sent the spoof message to Vickie instead of Rachael 8. Asked Vickie how to win Ashley back, triggering the redemption quest 9. Apologized to Ashley 10. Talked to Derek and he told me to get her a gift... 11. ????????? Can't find any sort of gift, help please!

I'm not able to ask Frank about the empty vodka bottle, even after inspecting it and being asked for water by Katherine. Did the path to get water for her change, or is this possibly a bug?

I think once you set down a path for a quest, it's no longer available. Happened to me once Vickie arrived. Get the bottle early on and you should be fine. Probable a glitch after the new script was written.

At the main menu, I am getting an "Error: unable to unzip the stories successfully. You can manually download them and add them to your folder." Problem is I cannot find the 0.7.1 stories anywhere. Is there a place where I can download them?

Resting is so annoying for the reason that if you engage in sexual activity, you cannot exit the encounter. Talking to Ashley or Madison for a blowjob after an orgasm and the resting meter doesn't go down! Meaning you're stuck in the conversation and you cannot do anything about it.
