The long panel length, drawn-out point of view,  meandering speech balloons and wilted body language all combine to show defeat in the hostage taker's voice and demeanor.  In the next panel we contrast that with a close-up, spittle, and jagged word balloons as he explodes with angry denial.Tilly replies to him with the classic "idk lol" shrug - she's beating him up with hard facts and emphasizing that her hands are as tied as his. But, she's also not fucking around. We know from the beginning of the comic what Tilly's offer of cooperation means, and having her pistol holster visible emphasizes this.I kinda like the last panel here, just a short bit of schmoz with the hostage taker's fury-contorted face just edging into frame, the hostage squirming in his grip. It shows the disposition and stakes of the situation.

The half-face of transformation strikes again, somewhat mirroring Tilly from a few comics back as she ran out to meet the situation. I really liked Tilly's version, drawing attention to both her preparedness but also to Muskgrave. This one draws attention to the orderly and their fear, which is an interesting an impactful choice, slightly bracing the reader for what is to come. Well done!
