Sequences like this are a lot of work but I quite like them. What Tilly is describing are real locations, but because it's only referential I used grey line work to give it a kind of hazy look to it. Tilly's narration is littered with veiled threats, or perhaps deadly promises. Her tack in this negotiation is to bluntly inform the hostage taker that there is simply no way out of the situation apart from surrender. One detail that maybe got a little muddled in inking was the tamper-evident seal on the back of the truck. This would be a simple sheet of printed paper plastered onto any form of stowage to ensure contents did not change going in or coming out. These supply trucks would predominantly be laden with essentials and sometimes personell on the way in. On their return trip they would carry carry far less cargo but some specific things such as refillable containers, biological samples for research and other unique items and persons that needed to leave the city (with permission). Mail would be carried both ways in such trucks.
