Purifier creator commentary Pg.62 (Patreon)

We'd already shown Henderson being shot in the chest, and I wanted a way of establishing Gill noticing what's happening. So we cut away from the shooting to her turned head, the shocked family, and then the reverse to just catch the officer falling.Back inside, the doorman reloads his shotgun while calling out to his still-unseen companions, the language implying they are in numbers. He's cut off by a hail of bullets coming from across the street. Gill is opening fire on a fleeting target from a reasonable distance in hopes she might catch him, but accuracy in this sort of situation is going to be poor which is somewhat realistic and appropriate for the scene.Gill's sidearm is a Webley Self-Loading Pistol, versions of which saw service among the London Metropolitain Police, Royal Navy, Royal Horse Artillery, and Royal Flying Corps. I didn't make it totally clear what chambering it was here but it was manufactured in .38 ACP, .455 Webley Auto,  or 9mm Browning long calibers.I reestablish the car from earlier in this bottom panel as it serves as cover over the next sequence.
