Progress in February (Patreon)

Greetings my dear friends!

I spent the last month working on story pictures for the first version of the game. So far, I've done 160 pictures and 3 animations, which is 45 percent of what I need for the first version. The 110 and 3 animations I've already completely processed and assembled the events involving them and tested these events in the game.

There are a few small things, a little unexpected for me :) They relate to the picture making process. When I started making pictures, I realized that I had lost, or rather forgotten, my style of camera staging - frame making. I had to flip through my pictures from the last game to get in tune and get my creativity going. Then it turned out that I need to very carefully control every detail in the 3D scene - the naturalness of the poses, clothing flaws, hairstyle position, the correct distribution of light and so on, before sending it to the renderer. I had already forgotten about it. Otherwise I would have to redo the failed pictures, which is an unnecessary waste of time. But this is so, production stuff :)

A little bit about release strategy. Initially I wanted to make versions small, but release new versions more often. But now I'm inclined to combine in each release the amount of content I previously contained for the two versions. I'm inclined to do this because of the time it takes to build, test, and publish the game before each release. And that time can be anywhere from 2 to 5 days. That is, this time is subtracted from the overall production process. Well, and some other things incline me to this decision.

As for plans. This month I'll try to finish preparing the first version of the game. If I'm lucky and nothing gets in the way of course.
