The -Z- Files

I agree the call back to episode 2 was well done,I think my only question is while Ray "could" be the reincarnated Hero Kannon at the same time he could be Anos' Subordinant Shin as well since he asked to be resurrected at a later date no memories but sword skills in tact. Now this series is a bit tricky because things like "Oh you think killing me will stop me" or "I'll fight you with a branch" means there's so many swerves Second guessing everything is likely smart. They might be making it seem like either Skin or Kannon and later revealit's someone else. Knowing anime though I wonder if the reincarnated Hero kannon would have blonde hair like in the past also if he's not at this academy maybe he's like the Anos of some other academy not demon related?

Yea I firstly thought for sure it was Kannon as Ray but when Anos said, "I'll give you a reward" I thought for a second it could also be Shin.
