Tier Rebalancing / Reshuffle (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to talk to you all about something we've been thinking about for a while now... the current state of our Patreon tiers.

Firstly, I want to say something that we genuinely mean, every single one of you who has supported Vulgar Reverie so far means the world to us. Whether you've been with us from our humble beginnings or just joined us today, you are the reason this game exists and the reason we get to keep making it!

I've spent a lot of time looking at what we offer, what feels fair and also the current state of things in the world right now. Things are really damn expensive and I never want anyone to feel like supporting this game or us is a burden on them or that they're not getting the value their support deserves, that's something we care about a lot.

So after a lot of thought, research, and conversations with the team, we're going to restructure the tiers.

There's absolutely not going to be any increases in price or loss of benefits on the current tier you're on in any way at all, this is about making sure that what each tier offers feels worth it and that the barrier to entry is lower than what it currently is for any potential newcomers!

So, here's what's changing:

$3 (£2) - Sax Tip Jar (new)

A brand new entry tier for anyone who wants to show support without committing to more than that. You'll get access to our Discord community, A Discord role and all our devlogs and other similar posts.

$7 (£5) - Was Quick Sax -> Now the new Softcore Sax Tier

What was once the Quick Sax Tier is now changing to the Softcore Sax Tier that gets you the latest version of Vulgar Reverie as soon as it releases. You also get all of the above benefits too of course (with an adjusted Discord role)!

$13 (£10) - Was Softcore Sax Tier -> Now the new Hardcore Sax Tier

This tier will have everything above, but will now also offer polls, votes on game content and art pack + animation downloads!

$20 (£15) - Was Hardcore Sax Tier -> Now the new Saxinator Tier

Everything above, but with the added bonus too of exclusive discussion posts here on Patreon and access to private Discord channels that no other tier can see.

This tier will be closest to a direct line to me and the team!

And finally, a special note for our current Saxinators at $33 (£25).

I want you all to know that we are so so grateful and are genuinely humbled by you being with us on this tier. You didn't have to go that far to support us but you chose to and that means more than you all know.

I'll be reaching out to each of you personally to discuss special thank yous and rewards because you deserve that and more.

The tier isn't going anywhere and will stay purely optional, but it's being renamed to Sax LEGENDS, because that's exactly what you are!

And once again, thank you to the rest of you too. We wouldn't be able to do any of this without you, and Vulgar Reverie is only here and alive because of your support.

These changes will go live on Monday! For the sake of clarity and honesty, if you're only interested in the game releases, then you will want to move over to the new, cheaper $7 Softcore Sax tier (currently Quick Sax).

Of course, if you have any questions or feedback, please let us know in the comments!

Thank you for sticking by us, you really are all the best.
