Max speed for trucks on the Autobahn is 100km/h = 62mph.

would be really solving the problem of long distance travel with trucks. Small battery and supercharge for 30m or so and be able to finish the way on battery alone. Ok for many locations, the train would be even better (faster and more efficent) but it's a good alternative when trucks are necessary.
