This month, we're celebrating!!! 🥳🎊🎈🎉

Indeed! On October 6th, Mods Studio project will be 10 years old! When we started, our application was called ETS2 Studio - and that's because ATS didn't even exist back than. Once ATS was released by SCS, we renamed our app(s) to Mods Studio. Our old web page (blog, really) is still online as a little memento. You can click here to see the (very humble) post in which I announced the launch of our new application, and here's an interesting post where you can see some screenshots of our first app.

Of course, none of this would be possible without dozens of talented and dedicated individuals who helped me along the way. Mods Studio project is now a team effort. I could not do it alone any more, and that's why I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped me on this journey.

Also, your support has been instrumental in reaching this major milestone.

This project consumes nearly all my free time, often feeling like a second job. Despite the challenges, your contributions, encouraging messages, and offers to assist with development have turned a potentially burdensome task into a rewarding experience.

I've even made new friends through this endeavor, and I have no intention of stopping now. Thank you for being a part of this journey! 💚

Enough talk already... give us the goods!

Changes and additions for in this version were mostly based on your wishes, requests and reports on our GitHub issue board. We've added new AI trucks for ETS2, and this time, there's a little bonus: Mercedes Benz Actros MPIV can have the front grill painted or plastic!

We completely re-made the truck engine mod template, and with it, we added some cool new Pro features for you to enjoy! One of these features is the icon gallery, where we give you a decent selection of icons for your new engines... but you can still use your icons just like you did before.

Our mod template list (the panel on the left side of the main window) has gotten some big quality-of-life improvements. Now you can group templates by type (see options to enable this!), you can re-arrange templates up and down, and you can duplicate and delete them by using the handy buttons on top of the list. Also, most templates now show the selected vehicle and your internal name, so you can quickly see what's what.

During October we'll celebrate 10 years of Mods Studio 2. A part of that will be a special release of some amazing new content, for Patrons only... well, at least until the new v.2024.01 comes out. So, what to expect during the month?

Some other things we'll do in October include a competition for the best "Mods Studio 2" truck and trailer livery, giveaways, YouTube videos and maybe even a Twitch live stream (if I can get my internet to behave) :)
