San Antonio is only 45 mins-1 hr to Austin, invite John to the Austin shows! White Castle is trash, sorry, sissies! I went out of my way to try it in Las Vegas once bc we don’t have it in the PNW and I wanted to be a cultured fast food enthusiast.

I'm a person who struggles with infertility and the shame is very real. I had my colon removed at 15 and the scar tissue wrapped itself around my fimbriae, sealing them shut. Things like what Gino said are not helpful imo. It's a bit dismissive and not acknowledging the reality. I think empathy and genuine realistic support are much better than empty platitudes.

TT

I lost everything hearing Jim Jones being explained! And by the way, he did not use NOT Kool-aid, it was Flavor-Aid. I'm surprised Kool-aid didn’t do a whole 80s style PSA confirming that JJ was cheap on top of being a mass murderer.

Vic

Why do you guys not cover Ed, but then cover Angela and Miss Mood who are worse than him?

I also tried White Castle in Vegas- absolutely trash! And we were sober

The Valley Girl Espanish is the most spectacular part of these episodes. It’s actually hysterical. She can be understood by anyone with one duolingo session. She’s a beautiful butterfly.🦋

Of course Emily’s parents love love Kobe, they keep letting them stay in the house after having tons of children after dad said NOT TO lol if he wasn’t so nice… they’d be out. he seems like literally the nicest guy we’ve ever had on this franchise. There were a couple cultural things (the breast feeding etc) but otherwise he’s never been terrible and he seems to work hard for Emily and the kids. HOWEVER, Emily. Stop having kids until you are settled elsewhere. Let your parents go on a damn cruise and not have to help you raise your children! They already raised their children!

Alexandra MacQueef

Agreed. I am a former SATX resident. He can be there and I can guarantee he will be. It’s in his literalmente backyard,

Elizabeth

OMG LALU IS BACK ON THE 19th and you’re in Toronto on the 21st 😂 I love LALU but do keep in mind that we actually don’t get it in Canada since none of the networks carry it…though I suspect I’m not the only Canadian sissy who bootlegs it on YouTube 😬

Cris Sanchez

Hey guys, I would like to know what the difference is between Ed and Liz’s relationship and Angela and Michael’s relationship, that you are willing to cover one and not the other? I do not see a difference between the two. Both are abusive relationships that have not improved. It is truly disturbing to watch Angela season after season verbally and physically assault Michael. They are the main reason I am not watching this season of HEA. The cycle of abuse is difficult to watch.

Jude

I know you love Emily now, but DEARGOD

Super Nova

I had to fast forward through the toe sucking scene🤢🤮 P.S. Docusweeties are pretty quick with their 90 days posts. Posted Sunday night/early Monday

Katrina Coley

I can't stand feet, my husband literally told me to turn around and told me when it was safe to watch!

Breanna K. Williams

There are actually 254 tribes of Cameroon. And I did appreciate Family Emily for their enthusiasm, even if her Dad did try to embrace Wakanda like it was real 😂

Angela Cruz

My man says everything i watch is gross.... but he hate watches most 90 days with me. I have my own poodle who is 15 and he watches the true garbage shows with me. It's the best

It makes me laugh, like nothing else! I’ve been whispering “literalmente” to myself since Thursday 🤣 - P

Laura Deabay

You wrong for that intro, Mattie. I was trying to eat broccoli and cheese soup 😂

Jessica K

Good work to Mattie - that might be the grossest thing I’ve ever heard on this show. Yes really! 🤢

Rayana Gilbert

I was eating my Sunday night stoner treat of chips and bleu cheese before I turned the show on

Jessica

My hubby watched with me! We question our choices together.

Hollan Read

I just finished the Nickelodeon doc. So horrifying, yet unsurprising.

Hollan Read

I am a true crime person too - years of Ann Rule books - and just had the experience of being up close and personal with a very recent murder. I know the murderer. I’ve known him since he was a kid. I know his parents. His siblings. It’s really strange to be on that side of it. He is mentally ill. Not that it excuses it, but it helps explain it, I guess. If you are curious, google Seattle axe murder Feb 2024 and it comes up. The details are gruesome. I feel so badly for the innocent man who died and also for Liam’s parents and family. (But anyway - SAME Poodle. I like knowing what makes people tick.)

Megan MacKenzie

I found Emily and her family to be SUPER cringey in Cameroon. I’m a white woman with a black boyfriend and I could barely watch. If my dad said “wakanda” while we were in Africa I would be absolutely mortified. They aren’t being outright disrespectful like Chantel’s family but there are definitely micro aggressions happening. Also, Emily has been with this man for how long?? And she doesn’t know anything about his culture? Has she asked him one question???

Sam Lo

Oof. Gino’s face when he realized he fucked up and it’s BAD.

Jen Greenan

As I write this I am ensconced in my heating pad. Gino needs to suck it up and get a lawyer. This is a combination of him being cheap and a know it all. He thinks bc he’s done the k1 before he knows everything that goes into it. Not even thinking to check if there is something different you need to do if kids are involved. Jasmine never would have come over if she didn’t think her kids could come over shortly after. He deserved the treatment he got by that attorney.

Janelle McClasky

I wasn’t as impressed by The Family Emily as was Mattie. Yes, it’s a good effort that Emily and family didn’t want to seem as if they were appropriating the culture. But still some micro aggressions were flying. The Lion King? Wakanda? Really? Africa isn’t this monolithic place full of magical black people ready to entertain “colonizers.” Emily and company seem better than their previous appearance, but still can do way better.

Caitlin Brooks

#concernedhusband let’s just put it like this- i keep my trash cringe tier binge watching habits to myself LOL it’s just “my shows” 🤣

Colleen 🗑

Regarding true crime consumption: I'm a Mattie but my husband has been watching distressing content on the internet since he was a tween. He says it helps him reframe his problems and puts everything into perspective. Work is annoying but no one put a tire around him and set it on fire today. I personally love a gratitude list written in a fun colored pen to shift my perspective but that's me 🤣

Lizzy

When he said “wakanda” I was like 😨 I am also white so idk if that’s actually offensive but it SEEMS like it would be

Lizzy

Matty you unfortunately need at least a cliff notes version of Jonestown just because it’s oddly prevalent in pop culture. Off the top of my head, it’s where the term “don’t drink the koolaid” comes from. (Although insufferable true crime nerds will quickly correct you that it was actually FLAVORADE). Heaven’s Gate and Manson family references are also pretty common.

Cecilia Adams

There are certain things that need to be done by a professional. Hot water heater goes out, get a plumber, air and heat goes out, get an HVAC mechanic. Need to file a K -1 Visa that is a legal document, get a lawyer. Geez Gino.

em shum

My partner and I were watching this episode while eating dinner and when the toe sucking came on we promptly vomited.

Emily Allen

Emily’s parents were lovely and so polite in Cameroon. I love that they asked if it was okay to wear the African outfits, making sure they weren’t appropriating culture. They are definitely #midwestern

It's def late night drunk food. FYI- it's common knowledge in NJ that if you're feeling a little backed up. Just eat some White Castle and it clears you right up.

Cin S-T

I call a little Faudacity on Jasmine's kids visa story. Her first season she said her kids were with their fathers, and it could be that they were not going to be allowed to leave the country. Jasmin is no fool. She would have known her kids needed to be on the visa request.

I think it has to do with Ed’s behavior towards minors online when he first came on the show. The sticker era.

Sheila Leigh
>>133286455

Love me some White Castles, even sober lol 😂 The meat is steamed with onions not grilled maybe that’s why some don’t like them.

MicaS
>>133537889

I agree. Something fishy here but is Gino in on it too?

Amy Diehl
>>133537889

I wondered this too. I don't think her mom & sister is taking care of the kids?

Amy Diehl

My husband's coming w me to the Chicago show and I can't wait to embarrass him. The first time he was #concernedhusband was when he walked in on Angela and MIKAAL. He just said "wow this is a trash people show huh?" I just said "yes" 😂😂😂

Amy Diehl

I too was singing Valerie when he came on 😂😂😂 #RIP
