I know the current administration is probably going to lock down Iranian travel, idk where this idea that Mahdi will never get to go back to Iran comes from. My dad was an Iranian immigrant and went back and forth multiple times over my life with no issue. Also my dad would frequently introduce himself as Persian before Iranian for the same reasons and compared to my dad? Mahdi has no accent. It’s kind of wild.

You think 6 hours of chit chat on a plane is bad? Try sitting next to a musky fella on a rickety ass bus without a/c for 27 hours across Brazil! The man wanted to chat the WHOLE ride and when I pretended to sleep with my headphones on, he woke me up to ask if he could put one ear pod in so he could also listen along. I was in tears by the end 😭 The smell was the worst part though and it still haunts me from time to time. Everyone, please wear deodorant when travelling with strangers, I beg y’all! 🙏🤣

I know they’re not until part 2 but I am viscerally responding to what a complete and utter POS Mina is and have to vent somewhere so please bear with what is my equivalent of screaming into my pillow- which I may also have to do! She is such a gold digger who didn’t realize Mark is more gold plated than gold. He’s such a simp & a fool. No pity for him! How gullible are you that she has a 9 year old who would’ve been 4 when you met and she’s so ready to lock you down. She looks cheap and sounds cheap. Her French isn’t even fluent and she is surely playing up the whole Parisian thing. She probably grew up in the French sticks and was determined to go to Paris and land a man of means. She is slimy AF. And someone with that ugly a character ain’t great in bed so that’s not the allure. She fakes it to get what she wants. Oh and her not knowing where the Statue ofLiberty is?? Re talking to strangers on planes - my mother was once on an Amtrak train with a man who had to go from Rochester to NYC to pick up his kids in a hurry, like something bad happened w his ex and they needed to come live with him NOW. Dad on the train w three young kids, now heading back to Rochester. My mother not only chatted w this family, she helped him with his kids the entire way!! It’s like 7 hours.

Haha! YES! I speak French and have spent a ton of time in France, including being an exchange student. She doesn’t sound like French is her first language or the dialect is so different than the French I’ve heard and spoken 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for validating this! I’m American but went to French school as a kid and was fluent. Her French sounds like mine, now. Proficient but not fluent. All this to say, the Parisian woman hype is a stretch. Maybe Mina, who according to Mina can have any wealthy man she wants (sure Jan) but chose Mark because he could “give her a family” needs to go back to the other man who “gave her a family” Clayton’s father? Can someone do a welfare check on Jordan? 🤔

I’m assuming it has to do with military service too if he hasn’t served yet. Still from my understanding he wouldn’t be barred from going back, but it’d be riskier the younger he is to go back due to the military service obligation. Either way yea just all meet in Turkey for a visit

Yes that was a perfect outline of how it’s done. Poodle’s formula: No more than 5 minutes(MAX) of banter as you get seated- mostly focused on whether or not it’s okay to put your bag under middle seat if it’s open. Radio Silence Light banter of no more than 3 minutes when the meal arrives Radio Silence A few minutes of talk as you exit- mostly as you hand someone their carry on from the overhead. End of Relationship As Jean Paul Sartre said and words that I live by “Hell is other people” I have a feeling this is one of Poodle’s maxims too.

I grew up in an airport community. Honestly you learn to sleep with the sounds of planes. Only time I ever had issues sleeping due to the planes was the week after 9/11 because it was too quiet since there were no flights. But yes the pilots and flight attendants who lived in the neighborhood would brag about the famous people who flew on their plane routes.

This is only my 2 cents: She’s not horrible because she’s from France- I can’t stand her because she seems to care only about what this guy (or from what she has said about her past ability to find men) can give her, do for her, provide for her. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a fool and a simp but there is nothing that remotely suggests she cares about him. She also said he was the only one of all her suitors who could give her a family? For someone who is so into “family”, what happened to Clayton’s dad and what about Mark’s existing family?
