Ethan is going through his “teenage rebellion” phase, a little later obviously because he had to move out for the brainwashing to wear off. The last 2 episodes, it’s obvious that Mama Plath has NEVER respected any kids’ boundaries. And isn’t starting now. It makes a teen/young adult feel “less than” when their wants/desires are constantly stepped on by Mom and Dad. That’s why Moriah and Ethan don’t really know who they are and what they want from life. Their parents never trusted them to venture out and make decisions for themselves. And Moriah is “okay” with her mom being at the concert but really, Kim stepped on her boundary again. And Kim’s happy b/c she got her way. Sick. Regardless of Olivia asking for Kim to stay away, Moriah chose to honor that. It was a choice of Moriah. And it wasn’t respected by Mama Plath. Moriah is still stuck in the abuse cycle from Mama Plath. I have teenagers, they don’t want me in their rooms, sometimes they don’t want me to come to small events of theirs, etc. They don’t want to be embarrassed, they want to assimilate with peers, while taking little steps of independence. Yes, I try to negotiate with them sometimes but if it’s a safe situation, I will respect their wishes and let them do things alone. It’s healthy. Mama Plath doesn’t do that.

Actually, Poodz, most sushi-grade fish has been frozen! It needs to be frozen to kill the bacteria so that it is safe for consumption. so worry not about landlocked spicy tuna! I'm from MA and typically never ever eat fish in the middle of the country, but in a pinch (Friday during Lent in Park City) i'd do sushi over some lake fish any day!
