- Twentysomethings: Austin 208
Hey gaytrons! As we get ready to smack the brand new baby 2022 on the butt, let's choose our last bicurious of 2021! Here are your contenders! (I know I said I was including "Germaphobia" on Disc +, but I realized that show premiered in July--my bad!)
1.) Finding Magic Mike (HBO Max) -- Ten regular guys who have “lost their magic” are put through the paces of a Magic Mike Live bootcamp, baring their souls - and more - as they learn to perform sexy and daring dance routines with one being crowned the real Magic Mike and receiving $100K. OK, I need to say that I've watched EVERY episode, and have ugly-cried MULTIPLE times. This show was sooooooo good, and it's not what you expect at all! hbomax.com/series/urn:hbo:series:GYZWoawz5wMPDwgEAAABX
2.) Selling Tampa (Netflix)- From the creators of Selling Sunset: Meet this new group of impressive real estate agents who know as much about selling fabulous homes as they do about bringing the drama. This show also boasts an all female BIPOC cast! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDaUhWXPwyg
3.) Twentysomethings: Austin (Netflix)- In this coming-of-age reality series set in Austin, Texas, 20-somethings navigate love and friendship and start a new adventure: life. I'll be honest: this is a Real World knock-off and I went in hate-watching...and I kind of went out hate-watching 😂 I did enjoy the messiness though. Although, one thing we can all agree on: Abbey's the fucking worst, right? Team Keke and Natalie! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_cGV9JMgTc
So ya'll...put off going to the gym for one more day, and get yourself another plate of leftover Christmas cookies. And VOTE!!!! (Voting ends Friday Jan 31!) Happy NEW YEAR! -- Poodz
