I haven’t listened yet… but it’s 1:00 am and I am telling you, when I saw the podcast was posted Y’ALL—I was like, “Okay I can get through this night!!! (And hopefully tomorrow morning.)” I am SO GRATEFUL to have your podcasts full of LOVE, LIGHT, and appropriate shade thrown by Poodle! 😍 Also, tell me you listen to Reality Gays without telling me you listen to Reality Gays—in my 39 years on Earth, I have only lived in San Francisco and Seattle when residing in the US. I have never visited the South. And I just said Y’ALL for the first time!!! (Also, I introduced my family to “Southern Stories… had to tell them about the Mattie’s mom watching “the light go out of his eyes.” That’s a sad one Y’ALL 😰)

I think they're giving Ximena too big of a pass here. If she really cared about Mike and their relationship, I think she would've been honest from the beginning. She cares about losing distant money man that pays for her appliances and furniture. She might be trying to love him, but I don't buy it

I work at a lab with some scientists that were discussing Omicron. They said that it’s a good thing that COVID variant Omicron shares characteristics of the common cold, which is excellent news because we know more about the common cold vs. delta. Sucks that omicron is spreading like wild fire but at least there’s a sliver-lining.

I think Gino and Jasmine are most likely to make it. They shouldn’t make it but there is something bizarre that pulls those two together and I think it would take a lot to break them up. I could see Ximena trying really hard to make things work (I get the sense she really needs to get away from home and to the US) but Mike might get scared and overwhelmed.

Funny thing is the crappy translator is pretty dead on translating from Spanish to English but from English to Spanish WOW, I think it short circuits or something, it’s a hot mess with a Spaniard accent.¡Qué desástre! Pobrecito el Mike.

I know right? We’ve had some Colombian sissies tell us that she’s got a pretty inflected regional accent, so her Spanish isn’t a standard as Mike’s English. I still don’t think that poor translator wanted to say things like “my fallopian tube’s were cut and burned 🤣”

Lol, my DH is from a Midwest farm producing state. I asked him to define vegan. After making a bad joke that as a vegetarian, I won't repeat, he said, without any hesitation "a person who doesn't eat animal products". Though TBH, there are def ppl in his family who wouldn't know. Now that I think of it, I am the only veg most of his family has ever met. Oh, never mind, I negated my own argument 😀
