What Love is Blind made me realize is that this experience is very intense. Hope these guys get support, because I would freak the fuck out being vulnerable and then all my defenses coming up in a short period of time. They are understandbly desperate for love, but it becomes painful if you are not ready for it yet. It is just doomed to fail really. The Japan edition is good as well. People there are much more direct and sometimes harsh in their intimate relationships. Would love for you to cover it as well if you have the time :)

Six minutes in and I feel seen by Poods. First, with Sarah McClaughlin’s angsty music (mine was the “Surface album. Listen to “Witness”); and then with his rant on Pat Sajak. I was JUST railing on him to my mom this week since she watches the show. I’ve been telling her that there’s something about him that just doesn’t sit right with me. I usually just say he’s “corny” but I can’t with that show and how all the contestants talk about their beautiful spouse and wonderful kids (gag). LOL.

Okay an example of using this podcast in real life…I just had a scheduled c section for my 4th and a tubal ligation. Long story short after the nurse walked out before show time my husband who casually watches 90 Day with me and over hears the podcast here and there when I play it looked right at me and did a BGL now I can “raw dog” you impression! I once booked a couples massage on a trip with my BF just so we could get massages at the same time. When we got there they had opened a little wall between two massage rooms, and we were like "you can actually go ahead and close that" and got our own massages. Highly recommend this hack for trip planning. I didn't want to sit around for 60 min doing nothing...lol

She was saying “oh I didn’t like what you were doing but I guess I see the reason now but I hope it doesn’t continue and btw you could be a bit more aggressive”!! I’ve been the Danielle to a Nick and I recognize that sort of toxicity IMMEDIATELY. And yes I’ve done therapy and I’m much better at communicating my needs directly and knowing my worth.
