I had to laugh at Nicole’s plight. It reminded me of when I brought my Swiss ex to Turkey for the first time. I dumped him with my relatives and went off to get a mani-pedi. 🤣😂 Poor thing was overrun with family members and food. He was like a terrified, stuffed bird by the time I returned.

I'm so happy Jen is standing up for herself so fiercely and quickly. It's necesssary. I also feel for Rishi, he looked tortured in some moments. Can't be easy to want something for yourself with so many expectations. At the same time these men shouldn't bring in women, who will have a hard time. It's not fair.

Jen is ridiculous. I feel like she knew that she wasn't walking into the situation that she'd previously described, she turned saying hi to his family at a wedding into they know we're friends but not engaged. There's a lot of ground between those two that she's wilfully ignoring. Rishi's no prize either, telling your parents you want a love marriage years ago when it's still in the abstract is a lot different than saying it when the search is actively happening. Still, Jen seems like the bigger mess of a person between the two of them. Mattie is single and going to die alone? I hope not, I was really rooting for him and his bf.

Also, they said ok the the love marriage, but then 2 years went by and he didn’t bring home an Indian fiancée. Momma Rishi got tired of waiting and said “you had your chance and now I’m going to find ladies for you.” So it’s not a lie really. There probably were ok with him finding his own wife if she was Indian and he was actively looking. But he wasted too much time and they got fed up.

My husband cringed when Gabe ate the cow intestines but I had to remind him that we’re Puerto Rican and we have eaten pig intestines AND cow’s stomach lining. We didn’t even know what it was until we were older. I don’t eat it now! 🤦🏽‍♀️
