Mattie's stories bring me so much joy, caring about Oklahoma is not something I ever saw happening in my life, but if it's half as hilarious as Mattie makes it sound then I kind of love it. I'm starting to get the vibe that Tiffany is more into Brett than he is into her, and it's making me nervous. I like Chelsea & I'm rooting for her but something about their relationship feels like there are some pseudo fetishy undertones on both sides.

The people on this show get an unique opportunity to be loved in a completely different way and feel that it's what they need. It will take years however to break the old patterns. I'm so fascinated by it. If the show would run longer I think some relationships would go the distance. This season I think there will be zero marriages.

Re Micah and Irina’s dynamic: y’all nailed it perfectly in episode 2 when you said Regina George and Gretchen Weiners. In Mean Girls Gretchen wanted to usurp Regina, she thought she was cuter, smarter, and that everyone liked Brutus(herself) more than Caesar(Regina). Of course both pairs of girls lack of self awareness that no one really likes them as much as they think they do.

Just binged all the episodes…Paul is like Craig conover’s slightly less attractive cousin! Especially his mannerisms and mouth. Also zack looks like those twins from hgtv - one is married to zoey deschanel. Kwame reminds me of Juan Dixon and Marshall reminds me of the guy from greys anatomy.

Same I liked Zack from early episode 1. But especially after how broken he was choosing Irina, he has a big heart and I think actually put a lot of thought into that decision and didn’t take it lightly he was hurting Bliss. it had to be some sort of self destruction more than Irina being any better than bliss

I audibly said “oh no” when I saw the guitar in the background of the scene with Kwame and Chelsea. I’m a music teacher and performing musician. I paused the episode and told my partner that I could not wait to hear you to recap this. Holy shitzies tune the damn guitar first! Going on stage without tuning your guitar is the kind of sweet, adorable thing my 8 year old students do 😂 This season is the gift that keeps on giving! Can’t wait for Friday.
