I believe every single one of these groups is just plain polyamory and I believe most of them are producer driven. On another note, was listening to an old show and I had to laugh... we had a house in the '70s that had carpeted kitchen and bathrooms and as a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever LOL. As an adult I had a house built in 99 that had carpeting in the bathroom except for the water closet. Since most houses since the 90s have a separate water closet, this isn't that uncommon. It was hard to keep dry but I did like the soft and warm floor when you stepped out of the shower.

I am all in on this delightful mess. I'm more of a Mattie on this one, I cringe watched SSW and even though I'm fascinated by mormonism and other culty stuff I couldn't handle those women pretending to be happy. Those creepy husbands were just as motivated by getting to sleep with more people as these women are, but the fact they could hide behind 'religion' irked me too much. With this show, the fact that they aren't claiming religious motivation makes it easier for me to enjoy as pure trash tv. I definitely think there's something happening between Vinson and Dustin, but something about that story makes me uncomfortable. It felt icky the way Vinson talked about her accepting his shame, there were saviory/ fix me vibes there that were a little creepy.
