Okay! I have a good sissified moment. Our system at work (library sissy) is called Carl. I finally stopped myself from going “CARRLL”

Jess Durkee

😂 When I say please I ALWAYS need to say it like the sissy way. Impersonation of Kim by you guys

Val McCue

After saying so many “add BUTTAH” to the grocery list, now the hubz says “BUTTAH on the list” 😂

Aly

Lots of Cicis pizza places still in North Carolina with us “methys” 🤣

Cassie Hulse

There's like 3 Cicis in Tulsa!!! But mazzios is far superior

Sorry for posting this here but I’m not on the Socials, but I really wanted to tell you all (but mostly Matt) this - I’m listening to my other favorite podcasters Watch What Crappens cover Top Chef. One of the contestants is named Amar (sp?) and every time either Ben or Ronnie says the name all I hear EVERY SINGLE TIME is Matt saying, “A Marr never forgets…” in a super chilly somehow menacing voice. Every.Single.Time. And I giggle every single time.

Katie Mullicane

I feel like that kid from the old show The Middle every time some one says “Lisa” or “potential.” I have to whisper “Leesal!”” and “PONTENTIAL” under my breath.

Julia Praser

My sissified moment… every time someone talks about driving down the high way I have to sing (out loud or in my head) 🎶 driving down the HIGHwaaaay 🎶

Jamie Katherine

I’m always repeating “eleven eleven” in the Darcey voice. Accidentally did it in front of a client in therapy. They giggled a little bit but their eyes said “it’s time for a new therapist”

Mary Scheske

Asuelo had all that safety equipment on and RUBBER SHOWER SHOES to bicycle in, it makes me scream EVERY TIME. How could she let him out of the house without the proper safety equipment 😂

Mandy G

I’m so glad my kids are out of car seats. They are a nightmare!

Jamie Katherine

Poodle played Jonathan’s mom TOO well ☠️

Caroline Dickie

I almost murdered an Avis representative over a car seat. I’d been traveling all day by myself with my 1.5 year old who’d refused to nap or eat anything other than crackers. We were both REAL cranky. I rented a janky ass car seat for the rental car and, like an idiot, thought it’d already be in the car. Instead it was next to the car and wrapped in plastic. There were no instructions with it, beyond the extremely unhelpful sticker on the side, which did not even say what kind of car seat it was beyond the brand so I couldn’t quickly look up videos without researching models. I asked an Avis person to come help and they said, in a kind of ahole way, that they couldn’t help because of liability reasons. So I asked if they had instructions or could tell me what kind and he could not. Meanwhile my child is SCREAMING. He couldn’t walk so I had to hold him and figure out where the hell to put him while installing this POS. Then, instead of leaving, the dude just stands there, watches, tells me to read the sticker and then says, “I don’t think those things are supposed to face backwards.” SIR! If you can’t help, then politely move along. When he said that, I really almost strangled him. He saw the anger in my eyes and promptly left after that. Thankfully, the man renting the car next to mine had to install a car seat too so he did his and then helped me with mine. He did have another adult with him to help with his. All I can say is, never again!

I lived in mechanicsburg. Its not as podunk as they make it out to be where he cant go out at night…that mcdonalds and weis are also near a target, wegmans, kohls, ulta etc. etc. etc. and a few bars… u have to go on the outskirts to be near farmland. Jay is just a liar. 😂

Jill

What song is Poodle singing around 35:30? Driving me mad, thought it was from the Swiss Family Robinson movie but can’t figure it out 🙃

Kristi Burks

I think the reason Kalani (sp) ended up marrying asuelo was because she got pregnant again. I’m pretty sure abortion is against her religious beliefs so that was never an option. And she could have possibly been a single mom to 1 but in her mind she couldn’t do 2 kids alone. Plus she was fearful of what her family would think about her.

Kelsey T

As an adult who never learned to ride a bike without training wheels, I feel validated by Poodle saying it's scary 😂

Carey Addis

Haha. An Avis car rental clerk mansplaining car seats to you while not helping at all 💀. I am so sorry! I am laughing in solidarity. I have 4 kids and babysit full time for my brother’s 3 kids. I am still floored by all the stores that don’t have automatic doors so you have to wrangle your stroller in while holding the door with your butt or telling the 3 year old to be strong and hold the door open. Or the fact that most public restrooms don’t have changing tables in the men’s rooms. So even when my husband is there he can’t help change diapers. I can’t even join you in the car seat discussion because I will go off for pages. But I see you!

Carey Addis

I’ve been there. It’s like any small city. There’s not a ton of variety, but it’s not the sticks and it’s not trashy. There are bars open late. There’s plenty of restaurants and all the mainstream stores. Jamaica is pretty much the same, just warmer and with more night clubs. I feel like a married man shouldn’t care that much about night clubs.

Re: Sissyfication moments, I routinely belt out “Drivin’ down the HIGHwayeeeee” whenever someone mentions the word “highway.” No one has any idea where it originally comes from, including me, but people seem to like it!

Sheila Leigh

When I don’t know an answer I say “muy confuso” and a few people at work are on board. Lol 😂

Jasmine Robinson

A kid I went to high school with (and have done many shows with) is in Shucked. I thought it was a prank show for the longest time lmao

Paige Bertram

Poodle's Blaine impressions have been stuck in my head for a long time, but "addi-tude" from last week made me snort laugh in my cubicle at work (on more than one occasion). That shit was funny. Lol.

Amy Diehl

Me n my 4 year old sing this when we are on the highway. She has no idea what it's from but she thinks its fun ☺️

Amy Diehl

Ding ding ding!! Also she was raised Mormon so that's a whole other bag of tricks

Carey Addis

Sissified moment: I have a Poodle named Shooter (long before this show) and I am constantly telling him what to do in a Carl’s wife voice “Shooooooter, go get mama my slippers”. He never listens tho.

Lala B

Mattie: Ann Beattie is a writer… maybe you’ve read some of her stuff so you have her name in your head?

Amy Diehl

Steven was such a dick to Olga. I felt for him but I kinda didn't. I mean this woman is having your baby and has been BY HERSELF for 9 months. Shut your mouth boy

Kathleen wallace

Omg me too!!! I was listening to Matt and Poodle say they both have that tic - potential - and I always feel like an idiot because I say potential in the same intonation as Matt when he plays Kim whenever I hear the word. People look at me strange…

Jude

I remember being really disturbed by him watching it at the time. Thought he might steal the baby, or physically hurt Olga

angelina

Random but I grew up in one of the towns with the “going postal” stories - ridgewood NJ!There’s a memorial outside and I remember asking my mom about it as a kid and being like… oh.
