I am from southwest Ohio. When I was in a sociology class at University of Georgia the professor had me come up and say a bunch of random phrases to the class as a demonstration. He said where I’m from is considered the only “accent-less” place in the US. Before bots they used to recruit phone operators and narrators from my region. Our lack of accent makes us neutral to listeners. That very long story is all to say that it’s pronounced Jag-wire. Poodle says it like a Brit.

The show definitely pays. They reuse a majority of things and only invite like 30 people. Weddings cost a lot in general but these are probably pretty average because they don’t have the “wedding” up charge. These are tv scenes more than weddings so the crew can handle all of this stuff.

Paul consistently gave me strategic nice guy vibes. He reminds me of every 'nerdy/cute nice guy' character who is actually a douche who understands the power of the nice guy strategy and enjoys the game. I still don't buy Micah being heartbroken though, it felt like bad acting. Kwame and Chelsea's wedding demeanor gave off 'we've decided that our brands will be stronger if we get together.' I don't love either of them but I do agree that Kwame got a bit of a rough edit, I think he was much more on board than they made it seem. They did what a lot of reality shows do, by playing on the subconscious distrust that people have for black men, that there's something a little 'too smooth' about their actions, especially when it comes to dating a white woman. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last. All of the people on these shows are pretty douchey, but the stereotype magnifies it for the 'hot' black guys.

I think that I needed to see more of what made them so great together, but we didn’t get that. Oh, I feel absolutely no different about her. I’m honestly glad for him. I think she thinks that will be the outcome, but with the level of upset over being such a conniving bully, most people love a comeuppance story. I think he dodged a huge bullet, and I can’t imagine many people will see it differently, especially since she insisted he go first so she could look like the victim if needed. Good life lesson, pay attention to the company people keep. Being close with Irena and then the Shelby of it all should tell any potential partner all they need to know.

The show, and with each season you can see their budget increase. This season the decor and flowers were different for each couple, that hasn’t been the case before. I loved it. I’m sure they get a lot of deals as long as they promo sponsors.

Okay, here's my 2 hot take(s) on Paul/Micah. 1. I don't think Micah is an idiot and probably really liked that Paul was treating her like an intelligent person and having real conversations with her unlike her moron friend group. I bet that was new for her in someone she dated. 2. I am married to someone who is wired in a similar way to Paul (a scientist, super analytics) and I suspect what would have gotten to him is how much she was trying to force him to change and how differently she was acting in different situations. My husband is SO slow to accept change and really doesn't do it without looking at every single piece of evidence, he can't even buy a new shirt easily. She was trying to get him to move, to dress differently, to change his house. And on top of that she was one person with her friends and one way with him, and one way in the group and on and on. As much as he liked to show he was "fun" (Sharks! Italy!) I bet at the end of the day he had a life pretty calibrated for HIS comfort and/or exactly what he needs. I think realistically he might have gotten married from the show, and really was open to the process but she was trying to force a LOT on him and I think at the end of the day it was too much.
