AHHHHHHHH the mission impossible music and and the badgers 😂😂😂😂😂 I just woke my partner up laughing

Ari

The Trading Spaces opening! Hahaha

Nicole

Just wanted to pop in to say I spotted Nonie Cream at the Seattle Airport this weekend. 👀👀 Her new gentleman companion looks a lot like Reese. As in you could also definitely find him skateboarding under the West Seattle Bridge. I miss Marrying Millions 😫

Hannah Goralewicz

I really like Kimberly! I hope I don’t regret saying that. And Gone Girl was an excellent book and movie. The endings were different, but they both worked well. Matt, you should watch Sharp Objects! It’s in a southern small town and the acting is top notch!

Fun Netherlands Fact....THERE ARE NO SQUIRRELS HERE!!! It's CRAZY! I'm American, but we are stationed over here right now, and 3 months into living here I noticed that were no squirrels and it blew my mind! One year later and I have yet to see a single one, even hiking in the forest!!!

Stacey

Of course Poods is a Gillian Flynn fan. I love it.

Melissa Shauver

Also to counter Poodle’s “There are squirrels everywhere!” There are no squirrels in Japan. We had an exchange student who was DELIGHTED by all the squirrels in our rural yard.

Elizabeth

Kimberley was absolutely ridiculous re: the apartment.

Kristy T

No way! Japan too! I knew there were no squirrels in Hawaii, but that's because it's an island, so I guess that makes sense for Japan too! It's still so weird to me to not see them here because of course there are squirrels EVERYWHERE in the U.S.

Elizabeth

There are no squirrels in Australia either, I believe.

Elizabeth

I really don’t like Julio 🤷‍♀️

I was so confused about Wayne’s booby trapped garage… if that’s the entry point for burglars why would he keep a million tools in there that look like they’d be just what one would need to do serious damage and access other parts of the house? It was like a robber’s dream tool shed.

Jasmine B. Washington

Me either! I agreed with Poodle’s initially assessment: he’s a DJ. And he gives DJ, fuck boy vibes! I think he just wants to live somewhere else and found a hot, blond girl who he could use to make that happen. And I feel bad for Kirsten because he’s put her in a really shitty position with his mom

Ashlee crump

Can we talk about the cringe moment when Kimberly looked at TJ before going up to the apartment and said “what now brown cow?” 😬 I mean we’re familiar with the phrase, but I’m sure TJ and his family aren’t. I felt like she had instant regret on her face. 🫣

Lynne

Wayne’s security set up was very McGruber 😂😂😂

Laura Williams

Y'all Julio is hurting his mom on purpose. It's his weird passive aggressive shit. I bet he always does stuff like this. Feels weird

Heather Shaw

Ashes in the Wind is a super duper trashy romance novel from the 1990s. It’s set in the Civil War and features a woman who presents as a man to serve in the army and falls in love with this doctor. Of course it’s soapy and weird and once you start this wild book, you can’t help but keep going haha

Jude

My mum was pretty devastated when I told her I was moving to the US to get married, even though she knew& loved my husband. There’s no way in hell I’d have told her in front of a camera crew!

Mads

I just finished watching and came here to say the Alabama girl gives me the ick. I think she was the horse girl in school who used to hiss at people who tried to talk to her.

Val McCue

Kimberly gives me Linda Blair in The Exorcist vibes. I’m with Mattie: her spirit guide is totally trolling her.

Sarah Taafe

Denver sissy! If you guys did a meet and greet I’d be there in a flash.

Sam Lo

Wayne’s “security upgrades” include a motion activated water spritzer?!?! That’s not what cat burglars means. “It’s not pepper spray or anything.” I don’t know. You kill my dog and I’m putting Napalm in there. Someone get Wayne a DVD of John Wick.

Nanda

Dutch sissy here from The Hague. We have squirrels here, but not that many as in the US. I often walk in a nearby forest, de Haagse Bos, and once in a while I see them. They are so cute!

Angelica

Am I the only one who laughed my ass off during the entire Kimberly/TJ home renovation fight scene? Kimberly screaming “WHY ARE THE DOORS DIFFERENT HEIGHTS??” was seriously one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

Sheila Leigh

Reminder to self: google “Sounding” when you’re not making the children dinner ✍🏻

Emily V

My Indian husband and I laughed during the TJ/Kimberly apartment scene, partially because it was all so real. She was overwhelmed and jet lagged. Indian construction sucks. There was no door on the bathroom so she could go pee! She should have stayed in a hotel the first couple of nights to get rid of the jet lag, and then he could have shown her things.

Sally

Kimberly reminds me so much of Snooki that it’s really taking me out of the show. 😂

juliagoolia

Poodle, I used to teach international students and the Dutch and Scandinavian students would freak out and squirrels and take pictures. They said they didn’t have them there.

Jamie Katherine

The apartment seemed decent to me. I bet TJ treated it just like the wedding planning though and just told her not to worry about it if she asked.

gendissapoint

Mattie still being into Julio tracks because he took way too long to drop Bartise

Lois Molina

I’m going to re-read Gone Girl and watch the movie! Thanks for the reminder! 😂 Also, I hate Julio. He’s a selfish man child that is manipulating his mother and his lady. I’ve seen many a man put their mothers against their lady. I have 4 brothers. They did that all of the time.

Michelle S

The UK version is called “Changing Rooms” and there’s an episode where a pair of idiots put their friends’ entire collection of antique ceramic teapots (I’m talking between 30-50) on “floating shelves” in the middle of the room. Guess what happened? I’ll give you a hint: didn’t go good!

Amber Atkins

I can't stand Kimberly already. She's one of those people who will scream at you not to yell at them when you're trying to be as calm as possible and NOT yell. Run TJ!

Jennifer Riester

Has she seen the other living situations in India on this show??? Specifically, anything Sumit has lived in???

Jill

I was nervous the first episode we saw Wayne’s dogs outside 😩

Tonya Beth

I read and watched Gone Girl for the first time when my husband and I were going through a rough patch. For some reason it quickly became my favorite 😆😆😆 Totally agree the movie is nowhere near the book!

Jujuy

We were in Central Park, loads of Japanese ( and other) tourists taking pics of the squirrels ( ie rat w a bushy tail)!

Amy Kalasunas

“ Ill shave my nips so Ill feel like your Mom” - Mattie, I was speechless. BRAVO!!

Geekgurl

My Filipino hubby agrees with Christina regarding Mary and hugging/kissing in the Philippines 🇵🇭 it’s all religious BS!! He was so angry when that was on the show, he’s like it’s making us look ridiculous!! None of that is true, but they hold that crap over her head because her brother messed up and they don’t want her to follow 🙄

Whitney allen

Don’t forget that Armando’s wife was also preggers when she died in the car crash🙁. I also still don’t get why Armando & Hannah can’t visit the US????

Lia

Please do a review of the Barbie movie 😭

Amy Diehl

Mary is 23?! Holy shit I did think she was like 16 😭 and YES on the religious shit. Sounds ALOT like Catholicism. Anything that brings you joy is bad 😭

Carey Addis

My weird church had its own “news network”. Half the stories were from the South African churches because someone was always getting robbed at gunpoint or tied up in their homes. My brother went over there once and his hotel was shot up and robbed in the nicest part of Johannesburg.
