My theory on Amanda is that she was bored in her last relationship since she got married so young and didn’t really fuck anyone else. Then her husband died and shit got real. Maybe deciding to go to Romania was a “fuck it” move and felt cathartic in some way. But once she got there, the guilt set in and she’s projecting it onto him. She feels like a terrible person for exploring other options while her husband was alive and then for leaving her kids alone while their grief is so raw. But she can’t admit that so instead she picks at everything Razvan does, from food options to friends to wanting to go to America to buying bathing suits
