Poods I've never felt so seen like I did in your Law and Order SVU corner. My favorite episode is when Cynthia Nixon has multiple personalities or the one when Olivia rescues a little girl in the back of a van by phone. (It sounds a lot darker when I type it) of course Cragen thinks it's a fricn hoax.

My go to show is definitely Golden Girls. My favorite episode is The Case of the Libertine Bell, season 7, episode 2. It's the murder mystery episode. Also been binge watching Brooklyn 99 since my father died and besides you guys, it's one of the few things that makes me laugh.

My comfort show is actually weeds! My mom allowed me to watch things at wayyyy to young of an age and we loveeed weeds and the sopranos. I remember coming home from my dads after the weekend was over and we’d catch up on both of them(while they were still airing). When she passed in 2017, weeds was on repeat and I’ve probably seen the whole thing 20 times over… even the later seasons (which are a bit lackluster). I still turn it on when my anxiety is high. I’m a huge rewatcher.

Renaissance is about reclaiming Black music, as evidenced by Act I being a House Album and definitely validated by Act II being Country. I predict Act III will be a Rock Album. Yes, Beyonce has played with Rock riffs before (If I Were a Boy, Don't Hurt Yourself, and of course the Sasha Fierce era), but an entire ablum paying homage to the genre: 🔥 and a lot of Black people, myself included love Country music and avoid a lot of those spaces because of the dark political undertones of a lot of the fanbase. I only ever go "honky tonk" when I visit my friends and relatives in certain places and spaces. I'm excited!

OMG, I love Golden Girls. Other go tos are Murder She Wrote (I adore Angela Lansbury), As Time Goes By (Judy Dench), The Andy Griffith Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show. One of my favorite films is "State of the Union" featuring a very young, villainous Angela Lansbury, and of course Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. Superb and surprisingly relevant.

Im with Poodle…Seinfeld is always funny. The scenarios are so real. I have a few people at my job that always act super busy and annoyed…but are really not. They will always be “George-ing it” to me. 😂

Favorite episode of SVU is season 6, episode 6 "Identity". It's about a set of indentical twin boys. One had a botched circumcision and was raised as a girl. It's classic Benson and Stabler and full of the SVU twists.

Mike and Natalie in their first season of the show (Season 7) also never made it to the U.S. Season 8 they would be back on 90 Day and she made it to the U.S. Stephanie and Ryan (Season 8) too never made it to the U.S. and they were done after one season.

As a person of color I totally feel you feeling uncomfortable at country music places. I think the worst places are the pop country venues. Check out some of the lower bands, they are much more welcoming. The vandoliers wore a protect trans kids shirt at a festival in Pendleton Oregon (super conservative area) when they performed and they are getting a huge following. War and treaty is my current fave.
