Good call on Kenneth being overwhelmed, Mattie. I couldn’t get a read on him. It also made me think about how straight men will do anything to get the girl to end the relationship bc they don’t want to be the one to do it (see: vanderpump rules). Kenneth is a kind man, so his way of pushing Brittany to her limit is by being quiet? I also think he’s v inexperienced.

Really? What I saw was a guy that wasn't interested in her physically but didn't have the guts to address it so he ignored her, treated her badly, ignored some more, went out until 1:30am doing who knows what, said it was her problem when he turned the lights on at 1:30am and wake her out of a dead sleep to make a move on her, was on his phone whenever she started talking, he flipped what she said to him to make it sound like she wasn't into him when what she said was "I don't think you're into me" and then man oh man he sure seemed to have that exit strategy in place as 20 seconds later he was calling whomever to say "ya, I'm outta here". He's not a good guy. He treated he poorly. He showed he NO respect.

As a former server and bartender in a busy pub, I disagree. A lot (not all) of servers like it when you stack plates. Especially if we are bussing our own tables. I don’t know what’s up with these reality shows and Charlotte. First, TLC filmed “The Single Life” at Piedmont Social House, in SW Charlotte, which is thirsty for a decent sized crowd most nights. Now, LIB has moved its cast out to Pineville, which is south of the city and actually closer to the South Carolina border than it is to Uptown (downtown) Charlotte. It’s not a walkable area, nor is it near any type of nightlife or places where young professionals would hang out. Could they not afford Uptown or South End, which is a very walkable area with lots of great places to eat and socialize? Or maybe NoDa, which is less expensive, but another cool, more hip place? I lived in Charlotte for 6 years and, while it’s not “perfect,” reality TV is definitely selling it way short.

I have an ex who is multi racial/some of his family identifies as black (they’re Creole French), and who also has a PhD in sociology. When you think about how in our whole society, whatever race, the only emotion men are “allowed” to have is anger - he said our culture celebrates white male anger but Black men have to learn to control their anger or real bad things can happen. (Another friend who is Black was talking about this re: Clay staying chill at the pool party). So it’s like: repressing most emotions is a gender thing and then on top of it needing to control anger is a racial thing … not much left to express

I'm not a fan of Frontier, but it's my only option for Vegas and Daytona, so I have to fly it twice a year. I haven't had any major issues, but it usually ends up being more expensive than a Delta flight.
