I also caught a partner on locations settings actually trying to meet up with someone. And like this asshole, he tried to gaslight me and tell me he was 2 hours away. I’m literally watching him on the app in real time as he’s telling me he’s somewhere completely different. I asked him if Apple and Tim Cook are lying to me as well. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I honestly don’t hate Jeramy for this. Laura picks him apart and is so negative/rude. I don’t blame him for wanting to talk to someone who wouldn’t do that to see if he made the wrong choice. Warning I’m gonna overshare: I think I have some personal insight into Jeramy and Sarah Ann. My husband had an affair last year. It sucked, but we have been working through it. However, he did have an emotional connection to the woman he had an affair with, and so after everything came out and we were in therapy and working on it, he was still fielding phone calls and texts from her. Not hiding them or answering them, but not just blocking her either. It was upsetting to me of course, but our therapist explained he was grieving that relationship. And I sort of understood. Because I am a SAINT. No, lol. I’m not. But we had other problems and the cheating was about that and him, and not about me so much - if that makes sense. Anyway. I didn’t like it, but I allowed him to end that communication on his own terms and after a month or so, he had had enough of it and realized that he and I needed to be the priority. And that was that. Sigh. Oh, you guys. It’s been rough. This pod has been helpful through it. Thanks for all your laughs and jokes. Anyway. In light of that, I think Jeramy is grieving his emotional connection to Sarah Ann. And that may be all that night was. I’m not saying he didn’t hook up with her. He probably did. But it makes sense he would feel the need for “closure” (and what do we always say? You give yourself closure!) That being said, I’m not a fan of his and I love Laura.

I interpreted JerAmy differently: I just thought he couldn’t give up the adoration from someone who was willing not to criticize him the way Laura does.
