Marcy Rodenborn

I have been refreshing and refreshing and refreshing waiting for your recaps of this! ❤️❤️❤️

Marcy Rodenborn

OH MY GOD SCREAMING during the Sesame Street bit to the point my husband asked if I was alright. Also Mattie’s Chelsea voice is VERY Miss Piggy.

Ari

I feel like Clay and AD are just talking AT each other whenever they’re on screen. (More so Clay than AD.) It feels like I’m watching conversations that aren’t real? Clay literally sounds like he is in talk therapy when he talks to AD.

Ari

Butterfly Kisses makes me ill also. Hahaha

Carey Addis

I was waiting for The Count to jump in and start counting the strokes. “One jerk. Ahaha. Two jerks. Ahaha”

Amanda Griffin

Big thank you to Barbecue Friend Buhkenzie for stirring the pot this episode! 🙌🏻

TT

I love how Jerayamee's mom didn't buy any of his nonsense!

Gardenqueen651

Ok, y'all had me up watching this at 3 am. Maybe Chelsea is getting a bad edit, but I study interpersonal communication and relationships, and she is coming off as manipulative and toxic. She never took accountability for starting the conflict, kitchen sinking every single issue she's ever had, projecting her insecurities onto Jimmie, and instead said, “We both were in the wrong,” like “nah femme; you're lucky to have someone as rational and reasonable as a partner in Jimmie (although he wasn't perfect by any means) her lack of real accountability is cringy. My hubs and I were watching, and it was hilarious how we morphed into horny puddles when Jimmie told her she violated his boundaries. “Talk boundaries to us, baby.” Also, she should never say, “he ain't it, sis” again. 🤢 coming from her. I hope she goes to therapy and they go to couples counseling early if they stay together.

Sandy Zickur

Sesame Street porn was everything! The parents on this season are awesome. What happened to their sons?

Ari

Matt’s Chelsea voice has me crying

Karen M

Mattie sounds like Chris Farley’s SNL Gap girl character when he RGTs unhinged Chelsea 🤣

Peggy Ann

Mattie needs an award for the role of Chelsea

Vic

Team Sarah Ann tbh Laura is a hypocrite who didn’t care when Jessica was talking about the same thing!

Christina

Can we all agree that Chelsea has borderline personality disorder? ? Matty, well done portrayal!

JENNIFER LEWIS

Chelsea has severe insecurity issues, and severe issues with alcohol. Not a good combo. She needs therapy and rehab. 🥴

Amy M Arcos

Holy hell. I haven't laughed this much in forever. Poodle being from the Carolinas is giving the best Jimmy voice.

Amy M Arcos

BUHkenzie took me out 🤣🤣🤣

Lisa Paulk

His Hawaiian shirt was such a f you to her. So gross.

Mandy G

I have scream laughed throughout this entire recap. I’m dyyyying. 🤣

Jenn

I don’t see how Chelsea and Jimmy can work when she’s traveling. She seems like the kind of person who actually likes to go out, and probably does after a flight, but doesn’t want her man (who is at home) to have the same freedom…and all because she’s been cheated on in the past. I bet she starts a fight any time a guy that she’s with wants to go out without her while she’s traveling.

Jessica Pyper

Is anyone else sick of hearing about men *leading* this season? It’s came up multiple times, with multiple couples. The patriarchy is alive and well 🙃

Jessica Pyper

Someone please explain Jessica’s socials to this Carl’s Wife. I don’t have the time to figure it out, and it’s been mentioned multiple times.

Tricia theisen

My dad and I danced to Forever Young by Bob Dylan covered by Audra Mae at my wedding. He wanted butterfly kisses and I refused.

100%- I pegged her several episodes ago as severely unhinged- my spidey senses are always right!!!!

Cris Sanchez

And now Sesame Street is ruined. 😂😂😂

Steph 👩🏻‍🦰

I never thought I’d be defending Jimmy so hard but he LITERALLY TOLD CHELSEA in the pods that he “likes to go out to cocktail bars and come home at a reasonable time”, and it seems like that’s exactly what he did? ALSO it’s clear that he told her off camera that he has had sex with one of his female friends, (which is actually a nice and IMO not necessary thing to do), with the agreement that it would not be discussed on camera, and then she blurts it out on the show?! I was actually proud of him for standing up for himself. (But I still think he kind of sucks) THIS SHOW GIVES ME WHIPLASH

Cecilia Adams

Coming from a “Big Hair Lady” in Tennessee, we “Tease it to Jesus” and “The Higher the hair, the closer to God”!

I think she’s training him very nicely to realize that she will backtrack on anything if he threatens to leave. That’s the only way I see this working - when he realizes the power he has because all she wants is to be with a man (any man). It’s so horrible to watch and I wonder if she will truly see herself when she watches this season.

Tay

Guys! I HATE that I’m a Jimmy fan. But whwn Laura was in her talking head crying and JerAmey and Sarah Ann were jet skiing in the background….I. WAS. DEAD. Bravo to the filming crew this year!

Steph 👩🏻‍🦰

Jimmy’s Dad making all the “pack rat” comments makes me think his mom is a full-blown hoarder…lol

Katrina Coley

Jimmy's dad is named James, cuz of course he is!!

Madeline Wysong

Charlotte sissy back again! I know exactly where Johnny & Amy were and getting stuck in train traffic at that very busy/poorly constructed interchange is a right of passage. I laughed so hard when she made herself KNOWN during their scene. Go off train-queen!

Abby Ziff

“Cheltsea” makes me so uncomfortable. She is such a mess (and of course wildly entertaining as a result- thanks to Reality Gays Theatre!) The way Jimmy keeps saying “I lerv you” in that monotone reflexive way.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That poor bastard is f*cked.

Diana Kohnke

I recently watched Love is Blind Sweeden❤️

I’m not a Jimmy “fan” but I can see how he kind of wandered into a situation where he can’t win and is doing his best

Enjoli Pickett

My husband was afraid of unplanned pregnancy. It was a mix of his friends having kids early with people they end up hating and his grandma saying you should only have kids with someone you are married to. I obviously did not have that same sentiment since I came in with my own kid by someone I hate now. Lol!

Elisabeth Berry

I’m engaged and my father daughter dance will be to Rocket Man. It’s not a particularly father daughter song but my dad builds designs and shoots off model rockets as a hobby.

Val McCue

Speaking of dogs: Amy and Johnny’s dog is super cute and I’m happy to see the camera crew loves her as much as I do 😍

Gardenqueen651

100% like whyyyyyy??? Why would a beautiful, successful talented woman be with a guy who's worried he's gonna cheat. Like, Clay, just don't cheat and then you don't have to worry. Or be open and enm, but then don't try to pull the wool over AD’s eyes and come on Love Is Blind!

Ari

“The doctor says I need less pork in my diet, but I like it.”

Val McCue
>>131006850

I LMAO when Mattie said they talk like they’re selling each other’s Herbalife 🤣🤣

Abby Ziff

May I say that Barak Obama would never have blown off Michelle sharing 25 things I love about you. I just had to say that. 😉🤭😊

Amanda Hite

1 more reason why Chelsea was not ready for this experiment is her job I’m a wife of a pilot and we work well because we are both very secure and honest in our relationship Her insecurity is going to be paranoid every time she has to go to work and be gone for days at a time

April Verhagen

Mattie as Chelsea gives me LIFE. A+. No notes.

Michelle Boudreaux

I feel like @poodle_nasty_or_not at least needs a photo shoot

Abby Ziff
>>131016406

She thinks he’s so hot and is dickmatized. And he thinks she’s way too good for him since he usually just bangs basic white girls probably. He’s impressed with AD on paper but she’s way too much for him because he doesnt want to be accountable. He can’t make it any clearer and she’s deluding herself all the way.

Jeida Mitchell
>>131027448

I don’t really want someone who goes out and parties but being upset your fiancé goes to get drinks with friends for a friends birthday is ridiculous!!!!!!!! And he can’t hang out with his friends because they’re girls? Like ma’am get over it. She is being so terrible.

Jeida Mitchell

I can’t watch Trevor pretend like he cares when he supposedly had a girlfriend this entire time.

Nery Herrera

Where the hell was Kenneth and Brittany?!

mess_this_blessica

Nick Viall truly lives up to how his name is pronounced.

Jilliann Gardner

I’ve never been comfortable with relying solely on condoms for preventing pregnancy either, no trauma or anything. Condoms can rip, you can put them on wrong, the error rate just seems so much higher. And I’m pro-choice but I also really, really never want to deal with an unwanted pregnancy. And I think it’s clear that she would have the baby if they did accidentally get pregnant and so it’s not unreasonable for him to be extra cautious if he truly knows he doesn’t want a kid right now.

Lizzy

I only continue to watch this show for Chelsea and Jimmy theaters. I can only listen to this pod on work from home days because I’m just wheezing to myself the whole time

Pauline S

This was so good! Thanks babes!

Pauline S

Last month I was too poor to pay for Patreon and so I had to listen to some Podcasts on Spotify and the commercials are so good! But I’m back to my boogie shit

ColeenSkygal0330

Chelsea is a FA for American, based in CLT. ** Given her age, and based in CLT, which is senior (it was a major base for USAirways before the merger) I would guess her seniority is giving her 3 and 4 day trips, so she’ll most likely be gone quite a bit unless she’s able to drop them to other FAs. Given all of that, Chelsea will either be: A stalker to her husband while she’s away…-OR- Be the one who messes around with other crew members on layovers. My theory is, the one who accuses the most, is the one who is actually cheating. My take is 90+% correct. I bet she’ll put a tracking device on his vehicle or his phone. Agree with Mattie & Poodle. She is the most draining person I’ve seen in a long time. She’ll suck the life right out of her significant other. I definitely hate watch her every episode. 😂 **I’m a retired flight attendant from American Airlines and saw Chelsea in uniform on her IG page; that’s how I knew she works for AA.

When you actually feel bad for a guy like Jimmy, bish is annoyingly cray cray.

AP

My husband didn’t know the butterfly kisses song so I played it for him. He is more disturbed by the original Butterfly kisses song than the contraception version🤣

Carey Addis

My bff’s DJ forgot to upload her father/daughter wedding song. So one of her bridesmaids ran to her car to get her Butterfly Kisses CD. The DJ had tons of other songs that would work, but my bestie is a conflict avoider. In all her father/daughter dance pics she is crying and her face is bright red.

BRITNEY PORTER

Does Chelsea expect Jimmy to not be friends with those women anymore? That would be an automatic breakup for me.

Robin

where is the LA show? i dont see it on linktree

Kara
>>131028168

I have never wanted to push someone off of a jet ski so much in my life...😂

Diana Kohnke
>>131032107

Sorry, I got a new phone and didn't get my notifications. It was really good, I enjoy Swedish culture!

Jessica Sharp

I just figured it out - Mattie’s voice for Chelsea’s spiral is like the Need Demon from Human Resources (Big Mouth spinoff) 🤣🤣

Jessica Sharp

Clay talks in run-on sentences. It just never ends

Laura Kalisch

My parents had me sing Butterfly Kisses in church for Father’s Day when I was like 9. YIKE.

Mikayla

Re-listening before tonight’s drop. This might be one of my favorite episodes of all time. Theatres? Immaculate. Aunt Peggy references? On point. Civil war jokes? Somehow timely. Worth every penny

Amy Diehl

God Chelsea is EXHAUSTING!! I could not be with her! Jimmy was gone for AN HOUR and she acted like he left her for a week!!! I WISH my husband would leave me alone for a night to go hang w his friends more often lol. Also I love tea but I don't care enough about these people to even read the gossip on reddit 🤣

Amy Diehl

Creepy my name is Amy and my dad's name is David... No one named Johnny though 🤣
