Am I the only one who watched Laura sabotage her relationship? Now, I think it was for the best and I think it would have imploded anyway. Everything for her is a reason to say no. I'm still convinced based on the preview that Chelsea and Jimmy don't even make it to the ceremony. We saw Clay and AD, and Amy and Johnny at their ceremonies, but no one else!! That's why I also guessed Jirahmy and Laura were over before we knew they were, there was no ceremony clip in the preview! AHHHHHHHHHHHH this show stresses me out like nothing else.

Also, I wrote an article for work a while ago about that very roller coaster. It broke down, went unnoticed by staff, a patron noticed it (he was an engineer or something), they tried to fix it, it broke again, it was a whole thing. You will have to look up the exact details because I pretty much forget shit as soon as I publish it.

I’m curious what temperature Mattie likes to keep his apartment. And Poodle, what temp did you ask him to turn it to? I had a roommate in NY who commuted from the Deep South, who loved the temp high in the summer, while I had sweat dripping down my back. She would say: “I just don’t feel comfortable unless the temperature is 85°” I have a feeling Poodle & I would agree on the cooler temps. 😂

I am a native North Carolinian & live in Charlotte. I am extremely rare. There are hardly any people “from” Charlotte. My southern accent is in the minority. Having said that the surrounding areas are just as backwoods as any typical southern town. So I think the city itself is pretty progressive (RELATIVELY for a southern city) but it’s surrounded & outnumbered by quite the opposite. The “city” vibe is not as spread out as it is in ATL.

This is so true about the “city” vibe - the urban area I live in is less than half the population of the Charlotte metro I think, but we have more areas that feel like “the city” IMO.
