Giga Texas Moonshot (Patreon)

I tweeted this yesterday but since it's intriguing - posting the idea here as well.

WHAT IF...
GIGA TEXAS CONTAINS HUNDREDS OR POSSIBLY THOUSANDS OF CARS,
produced there and ready for delivery once we enter the new year?

I don't have any data on this, it's just a moonshot - but here are a few breadcrumbs:

• One thing that could prevent this is if they don't have the permits yet.

• Another is if drones still see what's inside and can show there's no production and no parked cars.
  But the factory is mostly enclosed. Very easy to build and store cars there without anyone noticing. They can even test the cars inside if so desired.
• The Gigapresses already started producing castings, which were previously sent to Fremont. I have no idea whether such castings were recently spotted - either transported to CA or piled up for storage as in the attached pic.
  If there are no recent spottings of shipments an the presses are not covered by drones and shown to be resting - high chance that they're still producing, and either storing the castings inside or using them in cars.
• And if permits are there - they don't have to finish the entire factory to have a production line running!

I raised questions such as whether there is any idea regarding supplies and batteries coming in, and about production employee attendance - but so far I got no response.

If true, people might say that even if they produced 1000 it doesn't matter much in the grand scale of things, but this would be wrong. Assuming the exponential ramp-up remains unchanged, this wouldn't be adding 1000 cars to 2022, because these would've been made there regardless. It would be adding a 13th month to 2022 (see graph), which by gut feeling only should mean 25K cars.

Even one month is important, so yeah, I tend to think they already started and are hiding it. It's just a moonshot that could easily collapse by one of the drone operators answering that they see the presses are idle, or they're working but the castings are still being shipped to Fremont, etc. Time will tell, but ATM the moonshot still stands so sharing it with you guys, to help enter 2022 with a smile.
