In the alt left media, Elon is taking a beating because the left is so concerned about turning over the productivity and wealth of the world to a crop of billionaires. And Aside from Elon, I tend to agree. Elon appears to have provided a path to mitigating climate, and that is super powerful and helpful for the world. However, if he is unable to channel his blossoming power and wealth towards a just societal transition, it may be a faustian bargain when all is said and done. Im glad its not Besos or Zuckerberg or the rest ... the world would be bleak with them crafting the future.

Connecting The Dots

I fully agree, John. I try not to pick sides in US politics, bc aware that the data i get is much more filtered than Americans get - but from the sidelines it seems like politics took to the extremes in recent years. Votes have become partisan (no matter if the law you propose is excellent or horrible- it will pass or fail mostly due to which party proposed it). So... instead of wanting more just laws and possibly moving slightly towards the Europen model, Bernie, Warren etc make the scandinavias seem like the bastion of capitalism. And you;re right that others should be the target, not Elon - only he brings more clicks and votes so they go after him. Pretty sad.
