Good call on keeping Spektra. She's an interesting character, especially with the energy based attacks. I have to say that Bruiser is also an interesting character. I would have thought that he could have survived longer in the tournament. I hope more female fighters can win in their Redemption matches. It is interesting that after Spektra won the fight, she appears without a mask. It would have been interesting for when Bruiser is defeated that his mask falls off or is damaged. Great detail with Spektra opening her eyes in shock when Bruiser grabs her and successfully counter attacks. For the lore, what happens when the character keeps defeated in the Redemption match?

In the story, once someone loses in Redemption, they die. I had to keep Spektra simply because I don't want what I mentioned in the announcement to happen (to lose patron retention) and because I don't want the project to become "hot women getting slimed" and lose its focus as an equal-opportunity deathmatch. I did think about rendering Spektra punching through Bruiser's mask, but decided against it this time around as it would require more time to make more frames. But it's an interesting thought for the next Bruiser match (post First-Blood, or maybe a "bonus" fight if I am feeling up to it). Bruiser will be around though, I have a Finisher Theater planned where he bearhugs and empties Tamora out like a tube of toothpaste, lol, and another one where he chokes his opponent out with chains. As for Spektra, she's probably my favorite female character. Her face isn't traditionally pretty, but her struggle of balancing empathy for humans while trying to save her planet was fun to write, as was the worldbuilding of her planet being ruled by a religious, f*scist republic that uses eugenics and cybernetic enhancement, in its final stand against an alien race that uses entropy to devour worlds.
