For reference in the timeline, currently Level Upper is happening during these episodes. When this arc is finished and the next one begins, all of railgun 1 will have happened

For me I watched Season 1 of Index first and then Railgun, then I watched Index season 2 only to be completely disappointed by it and I basically gave Index up and instead watched all of Railgun and Accelerator. I then read the Railgun, Mental Out and Accelerator mangas and I am waiting for the new Railgun Season. So this is the first and likely last time I will be watching Index again

I'm a little late for the To Aru band wagon, but here we go! As you may have noticed, Misaka was a bit uh, psychotic in this episode. It's been forever since I watched/read this stuff, but iirc in the original volume 1 of the Index light novel, Misaka was intended to be a lot less grounded and a whole lot more violent of a character, but due to her immediate popularity with the readers the author toned those aspects of her personality down a bit into the beloved character she is throughout the rest of the franchise. As such she is unusually sane compared to her fellow Level 5s.
