Powers like telekinesis and pyrokinesis are pretty common as IRL myths, so it kinda makes sense stuff like that is common for espers in toaru too. As for Kongou “just tranferring in”, that happened way later in the manga than in the anime. But even with the anime timeline, it’s only been a few months.

Did you notice that Misaki used Touma's name when nobody said it? Also, while the Misaka clones would have a significant advantage in combat experience, Misaka has enough powers that are useful in CQC that she's definitely stronger. She has that iron sand saw she made in a fight against Touma, stronger electricity in general, and her magnetism gets stronger the closer she the metal she's magnetizing is to her. She is also physically strong as a side effect of her powers. In the novel she's shown to be able to carry Touma (a high school boy) with one hand no problem. This makes her at least a little stronger than an adult male. The clones have a ton more CQC experience but I still would easily give it to Misaka.

16:00 "Nah, I'm gonna do that." I was shocked that you seemed to think he did otherwise. He did his job. He just had to have the robo bug stab Mikoto, or in this case 10032. 24:15 Yes, she knew, but the operation was already underway. I don't remember, or never knew, what the deal is with Misaka and Touma, but this episode certainly fire me up about it. I think I'm gonna line up the mangas for future enjoyment. These Toaru reactions make it difficult not to go binge the series in some form right away!
