You poor bastard. You're really watching it. Well, I plan to be here to witness your brain melt and your eyes go empty. Such a gorgeous, unique, imaginative series. I suggest that you peek at the manga after seeing the anime. The art is so damn amazing for a manga. Though...the new movie will be out eventually....So excited for that! It gets crazier! 6:30 Ya just had to mention Blood-C. I still get squemish with milkshakes or smoothies that are red or pink. What's wrong with you?!? Lolz! 9:50 And then the Roxy-tier soundtrack kicks in, and it's all okay. This OST can make dying feel beautiful. 27:40 This end narration makes me want another series from this mangaka that takes place somewhere else in this same world. Maybe a big metropolis that imports artifacts from Orth, or maybe has lots of ex-Whistles who gave up out of despair and now they fight crime or cause crime or whatever. I just need to see more of this world from a wholly different angle. 30:20 Yup. Kevin "Anime OST Master" Penkin. No matter what, if he does the soundtrack, it's worth watching. At the end of episode 1, I ask one favor of you. With the main characters being kids around 12 years old, there may be lots of scenes that raise the eyebrows, considering the technological age they seem to live in. Maybe be a bit forgiving with the stopping to point out stuff that isn't so appropriate or normal in the modern day West? I get it. It's weird af seeing kids live a harsh, strange life, but it's anime. "Weirdly inappropriate" is kinda the norm pretty often, no? It's just a thought. I just have seen reacters kind of ruin their own experience with this anime because they stopped everything to dissect a scene to point out every little thing that made them uncomfortable. It's whatever. I just hope you enjoy the show.
