This also shows how much more devastating the end of Kizumonogatari is for Shinobu. She finally has the will and opportunity to save someone and offer her life for them, but just like her days as the beautiful princess, they end up giveing what they have 'for her.'

"People only care about you because of your looks" Reminds me of Nadeko eh? No wonder Shinobu was so harsh on Nadeko since it was like looking into a reflection of past herself, trapped by the words 'cute' instead of 'beautiful' in Nadeko's case
