I've had the gist of this series spoiled from...being on the internet. However, I have still always considered watching this, as I hear passionate love for the story and the horror. You buckin' up to watch it might mean I come along for the ride. :/

That Sotsu Opening - Analog was fyre!!! None of the songs were bad, but this one really jammed for me! 21:15 Well, as someone who is constantly looking for yuri on the internet, I can agree. 21:55 All of those smiles tell me that everyone is killing someone in this season. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So, the motif and the environments of these OPS make me wanna push for you to react to Dusk Maiden of Amnesia someday. SUPERB anime and manga. Like, shockingly so. Just throwing that out there to manifest some shite.

I was pretty afraid you'd be subjecting yourself to too many spoilers with this, but it's not too bad. Mysteries are mysterious after all. Also I can't believe you'd suspect Kira of being unserious and of dubious canonicity. That's as out-of-pocket of an opinion as thinking there's any yuri implications in the Sotsu opening! I've never actually watched the modern stuff, so while it will be a very long way off, I am excited as well!

Horror... hmmm, I would say Higarashi is kinda more terror in my opinion. I remember coming across this when I was 12 years old about 16-17 years ago in 4th grade. Back when I wasn't a weeaboo yet, especially by my two female classmates into anime back then. I was a hella normie.

If anything, the only anime entirely in watching them for half my life (me being 23 currently). I think the best Horror anime Shiki, 2010. Dawg, this shit is a hidden horror gem of an anime, uncomfortable, super slow ass burn, psychological, mysterious.... I'll never ever forget this anime till the day I die! The last episode it left on me, more so than the anime School Days last episode.... that ending and void stuck with me... :( Highly recommend it, Rob! I've got no excuses to rewatch it yet, because I remember every single scene and dialogues by memory. 22 episodes + 2 OVA specials (24 episodes). Fun fact of the anime Shiki: 1. Composer Yasuharu Takanashi, the same who did Naruto & Fairy Tail. (Honestly in my best opinion, best ost soundtracks) 2. The author of the manga & 2010 anime is the same author of an anime called, Another. Ah, sorry for this comment. Many people needs to hear more of this hidden horror anime.
